I usually have a good experience at the store but today was the worst experience Iāve ever had with online order pickup. My order was ready since 8 AM I arrived at approximately 12:50 PM and I had to get off of my car at 1:30 PM to go pick up my own order inside. Cars that were getting there after me were getting loaded before me. I even asked the worker about my order and he just said that it had not been picked yet. But it was obvious that they were not able to handle the online orders today. Then I tried calling the store and no one would answer at various extensions that I tried. Finally I was able to get somebody to answer in the deli department because not even guest services would answer the calls. I was left on hold for about seven minutes before a manager picked up. She said they were overwhelmed but that she was going to find out what happened and promised that she would return my phone call in 15 minutes. However, my wife and I think Target didn't hit the bullseye (too easy) when it comes to curbside pickup. This service only works if you have 1 to 5 vehicles. But if you go with 15 or more vehicles, the staff gets lost. The problem: Targets app only asks you the color and style of your vehicle. We own a white SUV. On one particular visit we literally counted 7 other White SUVs. The staff was going vehicle to vehicle asking people their name of their order. At one point, a staff member looked frustrated because the carts kept coming out but it was clearly difficult to distinguish what order belonged to who (numerous other vehicles were parked as well). Target should fix the problem by marking their spots with numbers, adding a number entry to the app, and that would make it more efficient for the staff to know exactly where they are going. I have a different father, but besides that. When we went to go pay And self check out the security guard Hover over my mother and my little siblings to the point where my mother started getting flashbacks from when she was in the military and felt she was in danger. If this is how security treats their customers let alone veterans I will no longer be shopping here or any future targets.
