This is the 2nd time I've been to this Olive Garden location in the past year. Olive Garden used to be a signature restaurant with a certain level of quality instated in not just the food but a guests visit as a whole. From my last visit, and I'm not sure if it's new management or what, the standards and quality have seriously dropped. It wasn't just one thing; everything about our visit was BAD. I went here for dinner with a friend on Dec 28, 2017 to celebrate her birthday. We are both mom's so we picked Olive Garden because usually it's a nice treat, more expensive than simply eating at a dinner or something like Dennys and usually has a lovely "romantic Napoli" ambience that sets Olive Garden apart from other restaraunts. I'm comparing my visit here at this location to the countless other visits I've had at numerous OG locations across the US. Upon our arrival, despite registering with the online waiting and entering the restaurant 40 mins later (wait time said 30 mins) we were still instructed to wait 15 mins longer. Ok. No big deal. But we were not greeted or welcomed. There were approximately 8 other parties also waiting to be seated. I noticed no one had the little circular buzzers that Olive Garden normally had. Not sure if they did away with that entirely or just made cut backs at this location. My friend informed the seating hostess that it was her birthday and we were there to celebrate. She also asked if there were birthday special drinks, and was told no. They seated us and didn't say a word, just flung the menus like a frisbee across the table and walked away. My husband and I came to have lunch today because it's Valentines Day. It was great and very busy. The service was awesome, considering the occasion. Our servers name is Jennifer. She has a big smile, is hospitable, and is ready to take care of us. She would drop by frequently to ask us if we needed our drinks refilled or any else that we wanted. We started out with the Olive Garden salad first. Then we ordered our appetizer. Afterward we ordered our entrees. Our food was delicious, and our appetizer was tasty and filling. I had the chicken alfredo with brocolli and breadsticks. My husband had chicken and shrimp cabonara. Our appetizer was meatballs parmasian. The environment was pleasant, soft music, and entertaining. Overall, everything was perfect. I truly recommend the Olive Garden to all of my friends, acquanteses, and people who love their menu.

Waitress was great, kitchen greatly disappoints, see pics of our stuffed fettuccini with "shrimp". Like four... little... shrimp... why is olive garden, the premiere Italian restaurant of the far east side trying to skimp on our shrimp???? Waitress apologized and brought another with a few more shrimp, but they chose not to sautee these ones... :( called manager, he apologized, came back with another plate on the house, this time more shrimp but not sauteed and they didn't bother to separate the pasta either (see pic). Manager Jakob, was very apologetic and offered a comp on anything from his menu. We were ready to leave so gave us a $25 GC card instead. Added a star for management response.

My name is Jose Barraza, I worked here for almost 6 years, I loved working here even though I was young I found a place I liked and was happy to work for... being young and dumb, I did everything possible to stand out and be noticed by higher ups..Erika Amador and the fellow management staff at the time would see me work off the clock to "just make it happen".... I ressigned at the Joe battle location and moved on to Cielo Vista one, ( mind you Erika Amador made me sign a resignation before even committing to my decision) and the director Vincent Stanford allowed me to continue at Cielo Vista.... Mistakes were made on a shift that I clocked out before any incident had been done, and with no proof of me being behind it..... I was put under investigation.... just before that, I had told Everett, ( Cielo vista) general manager) that i did work off the clock.... Himself, Kenny, and Aurora... the full Cielo Vista management staff, said I had to write a statement for they had heard something incremenating against the law being brought forth to their attention from the Joe battle location... I made a statement that brought forth the wrath of the higher ups... i dont know if I was set up, or if this was really the proticol.... after investigations on me working off the clock I was granted a check for the hours I indeed worked off the clock, and I had not worked for 2 or 3 weeks, had to split ways with the company to receive my money I had saved up from my 401k.... and there forth had never been terminated.. Years from now i got recommended to get my position back as workers knew what I brought to the table, I called the human resources and was still eligible for employment.... Armando the current culinary manager was willing to hire me on the spot even with no physical copy of my i.d until he couldn't find me In the system(reson for my call to h.r) one mistake was done were my last name was missing one "r" and i couldn't be found... all of a sudden after some calls he made himself i was put off untill he had room in the staff..... Id be a worker for olive garden right now if it wasent for that one flaw..... i got cheated out of my perfect job due to speaking my mind........but what happend to holding accountable the pepole who cheated me out of myhard worked hours off the clock!!!???? I was eligible for employment on July 2, confirmed by H.R And vincent Stanford, i look at a message, and today( after I spoke with Matt the current G.M yesterday, I received a message that I'm not eligible for the position......... at the end I was getting the round around and they were blaming managers such as Everett from Cielo vista, Vincent Stanford the area director, and telling me that there's no room in the roster all of a sudden after almost being hired on the spot the first time. I hope this reaches higher authorities and...

The absolute worst dining experience ever, food wise. Fine young lady who served on us, this isn't directed towards her she was good. I apologize for not remembering her name. We arrived and were crammed between a large party and a row of booths despite several near being available. Not a big deal but poor work by the host. We were ready to order upon being greeted as we haven't had lunch and we're famished. It took roughly 30 minutes to receive our entrees. Seafood Alfredo with what was very obviously some left over stone cold protein with "fresh-ish" pasta. My daughters mac n cheese was hard and it took her fries an additional 15 minutes to come to our table. Almost an hour into our dining experience, and halfway through our entrees, our appetizer finally arrived. They very obviously forgot about it, dropped it late, and rushed it out. Didn't bother shaking your baskets while things are cooking so they don't stick together ay boys? Because what we recieved was a big fused ball of still raw calamari and dough. Sent it back obviously and once it returned it was fine but I guess they taxed us the other half because it was a noticeably smaller portion. The kind waitress said she'd let her manager know and that she'd get it removed from our tab and I anxiously awaited to speak to this "manager". Poor seating with one section of the restaurant packed, another was half empty, servers were running all over and into each other, spilling drinks, and the quality of the food that came out? Apparently there weren't any on duty. None that cared about the experience of their guests at least. After finishing our sad meal it became apparent noone in management was coming to check on us. I didn't bother to ask for one come over, I'm not a Karen. If they cared about their guests they would've made themselves aware of what's going on in THEIR dining room and took the initiative to do right by their guests. Or maybe Olive Garden doesn't have very high standards when it comes to guest experience? I certainly won't be back to find out. Oh my bad, the breadsticks were hot and the...
