Took the family there for Mother's Day. We had a reservation. We weren't seated until almost 25 minutes after the reservation time. We understand how it is though. Not everyone wants to leave as soon as they're done eating and hangs around their table a little longer. Understandable. We didn't complain. We get seated. Raven was our waitress and she was fantastic. No complaints about her or her service. Our chef was awesome as well. I believe it was Adrian? Can't recall his name but he was great too. The food was good. Shrimp, scallops, fillet mignon, and chicken were ordered. Here is where the 2 star review comes in. They had a stack of chairs by the already crowded corner. My wife sat there and we were hoping nobody would come to get or place chairs there. They did. 5 times throughout our visit and while not intentional, knocked my wife's chair each time until they passed. We had to scoot back in each time. Not to mention having to duck until the person passed with the chair. This is with an almost 2 year old in a high chair mind you. We asked one of the girls who was a hostess to please have the chairs moved elsewhere as it was becoming quite frustrating what they were doing. She said sure and nothing was ever done. The other reason for the 2 star review is the fact that we were left waiting for our table and said nothing, yet the other half of our party was stuck in traffic and we were told they would lose their table. They were coming from the other side of town. We all know how unpredictable traffic is nowadays. Point is, Koze was asking for their order to place with the chef. They're in a car not at the restaurant. Please keep in mind, the people before us WERE STILL SEATED ASKING FOR REFILLS AND DESERT MENUS. Koze was expecting our party to pull a menu up on their phone and call us an tell us what they wanted. They were running late the same amount of time Koze had us waiting. We never complained or went to bother the hostess to find out how much longer. Also, we were asked to show up 10 mins prior to reservation time or our table would be given away. So technically we were waiting for almost 40 minutes. Thankfully our other half of the party walked in right when they were INSISTENT we get their orders while on the road or else their table would be given away. Another thing, once our family made it in they still had to wait over 10 minutes because the other people were still at the table. How are you going to threaten to give away a reservation when the other party hasn't even left? Was your chef going to give them the show while cooking our food? After all of this we HAD JUST finished eating and before we could set the forks down our table was being cleared. We basically were rushed out. Waiters kept coming and asking if they could take our cups. We finally just gave in and left. For the bill just for myself, wife and 2 kids you'd think we wouldn't have been put through this. If you're going to spend this type of money take it somewhere else. At least to a place who will welcome you and make sure you're not bothered and rushed while eating and trying to enjoy a...
Read moreWe had to make a reservation there since we tried to go the night before but they were full. We have only been here one other time about a year and a half ago and weren't really impressed. I guess we were thinking it would be better now. It wasn't. The waitress had ZERO personality. She seemed to be busy the entire time with two younger ladies that were out to jave dinner and several drinks. We ordered an appetizer just like the other two couples at our table. They all got theirs and we waited. She took our order and my young son ordered the chicken. She immediately told us that kids meals do not come with vegetables. Why would they right? She brought out soup and salad(even though my husband said he didn't want soup. She didn't being me a salad like she did my husband. Instead of saying “oh I'm sorry, i forgot your salad, let me get it” she said “did you want a salad?” I had to confirm that mine did come with one right? The salad had a ton of dressing that was horribly bitter. Then the chef came out. We got Micah. He was very nice and basically the only good thing about our dinner. Once he started cooking, guess what? Our appetizer showed up! We were already half way through our meal so we sent it back! We asked for a drink refill and she brought me the wrong drink. Basically a bunch of things throughout dinner weren't good. Then when we gave her our card to charge, there was a $3.00 fee TO USE OUR DEBT CARD! Sorry but thats part of doing business! Doubt we...
Read moreTook my family for Sunday lunch. I called in for reservations the day before and we were seated right on time.
For appetizer, I ordered their Kamakaze Sushi Roll. It had salmon, cream cheese, avocado, and topped with shrimp. The roll was delicious and would gladly order it again.
The restaurant serves soup and salad as part of your entree. I am not sure if it was supposed to be Miso soup (see photo provided), but the broth was too clear and didn't taste like Miso soup. It was rather bland this time.
For entrées, our party ordered the Filet Mignon and Calamari combo, Filet Mignon and Shrimp combo, Salmon, and Sea Bass. The filet mignon was ordered medium. It was cooked to perfection and very tasty and tender. The calamari was a bit cheewy for my taste but it was still good. Both the salmon and seabass were good, but the highlight was the filet. I highly recommend it.
The service was great. The cook who prepared the food at the Hibachi table was excellent. He was very friendly and very attentive to our food preferences and requests.
This is not the first time I come here. The food never disappoints and the service is good. It's a good atmosphere if you want to have a family or group gathering and they have a dine in section if you want a more private dinner experience.
Their sushi selection is good and many of them pack alot of flavor. I've gone just to order sushi and always felt satisfied with...
