We were customers here for many, many years! The staff that they had here was wonderful but then they changed and there are two new female waitresses who are so rude!! The first time we went they were extremely rude not just to us but to several customers who made comments. We gave them another chance thinking they were just having a bad day, they were rude again the second time!
It's very unfortunate because we used to go here a couple times a week and the previous female waitresses that they had were so nice, I'm not sure if the guy is still there who serves the food but he was very nice too!
Nevertheless, we have stopped going completely and we have been telling everybody in the community to completely stear clear and avoid this place going forward due to how rude their waitresses are now!! We had friends that used to like to go as well and they happened to say the same exact thing and they are not going to Moo Goo anymore either!
The last time we were there we asked for the manager, the waitresses refused and said he doesn't want to speak to customers and he only speaks Chinese anyways. They also said if you're going to complain and you're not happy then you don't need to come here anymore. Another table spoke up because they overheard and they said the experience was the same thing we experienced as well and they are not going back anymore either!
Also, when they brought out our food after we complained, they put it behind the counter by the cash register for a minute or two doing who knows what to it! When we got it, it seemed like they poured so much salt in it it was so bad we couldn't even eat it and you could taste the salt crunching in your teeth, and they were just over there behind the counter and laughing!
AVOID THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL...
Read moreToday was our first time trying this place out, horrible mistake. After I had placed my order to go, at around 4:30 pm, and sat down to wait, an employee named Melissa approached us in regards to a price difference over a drink that my daughter grabbed. All in all, her approach was absolutely rude. She obviously hates her job and life. She started raising her voice at me and I immediately told her that I was done talking with her and proceeded to talk to the other employee Jesus, which I would like to add that Jesus âwasâ friendly. Melissa even had the audacity to yell at Jesus in front of me demanding for him to stop attending me. Absolutely childish and unprofessional. After reading other reviews here, i can see that other customers have had a similar encounter with this same girl, Melissa. The owner of this restaurant needs to address this with her immediately. She obviously does not have good customer service and is the reason MANY customers wonât be returning to eat there. Not only is she creating a hostile working environment for other employees, but she is horrible with...
Read moreFormerly known as The Golden Buddha has moved just down the street between Popeyes and Albertsons now known as Moo Goo Chinese Restaurant. It appears that there is new staff and a similarly friendly atmosphere. The dining room outlooks North Mesa Street and I had the added benefit of being able to charge my cell phone into a wall outlet. But of course the star of the show is the food. The hot and sour soup that comes with the lunch special is outstanding. The accompanying wonton crackers are crisp and fresh and hot. I dined on sweet and sour shrimp which was juicy and crisp and fresh and delicious. The fried rice was perfect and the crispy egg roll was fresh. The waitress served as the hostess and cashier and took care of the takeout orders which were many. She was attentive and friendly and I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. Enjoy their dine-in service as well as their takeout. As a former San Franciscan, this deserves a five...
