This bar is really cool, I don't know if they do any thirsty Thursday specials or not, but they got a butt load of cool games, the place could use better decoration, if they had more classic arcade decor and painted donkey Kong on the walls and such I think it'd be better but it's still awesome. I always have a blast when I go there, but some machines are in dire need of some TLC the Mario kart game for example I couldn't link up because my multi player link button actually came out of socket. Some of the joy sticks on certain games don't go forward or backwards that well. The star wars x fighter game has been broken for months. I know these can be expensive repairs, but it's the only thing that separates your bar from the others. I sincerely hope these repairs get done because I would hate for patrons to lose interest and put rubiks out of business. Then I'll only have Dave b busters where I spend 50 dollars on arcade games that don't have the wow or nostalgic factor... And over priced drinks I hope the owner sees this, I gave rubik's alot of criticism, that desperately needs to be addressed. However it holds a special place in the child side of me and I hope it can be back to its former glory when I started going 3 years ago

Always a blast even better with their specials like on Thursday's for example but overall the food is a great thing to share especially if you might have eaten out already or might go out to eat after. The games are awesome. Sometimes you might find one or two a bit wonky but they honestly do their best to repair or change em up if they aren't working. A fun experience for sure. I recommend passing by if you're in town. Remember to have cash on you so you can get tokens. $20 for a group of 3 is not too bad at all even better for 2. If you drink a lot you might want to ask if they have any specials on drinks. Once you start drinking you kinda don't wanna stop because the bartenders mix the drinks really well. For maybe 3 drinks and like a shareable could come out to almost $40 so if you want to be prepared now you know. The music is louder in the evening but afternoonish is not bad at all. You can explore the amazing artwork around it's being changed often as well. Karaoke 🎤 is a blast I recommend it if they have it going on the earlier you get there for it the better. To get service, best option is to go to bar and then sit after if you need a table. To can have an opened tab or just pay as you go.

Rubiks had my heart on the East side but we ventured to the West side on Mesa to see Joe Dorgan mix some tunes for the 80's party. This place is filled with isles of vintage and modern video games. It's fantastic! Old school favorites in arcade style forums to pin ball and new electric machines, sit inside games, it's all there! There's a full bar in the middle, sit space to munch on a fun game themed menu. Special drinks like - Talk Nerdy To Me - include candy to keep them child in you alive, like Nerds, Pop Rocks and then some to keep your spirits warm. They have food but it was too packed that night. They offer a menu of sliders, chicken wings, snacks like nachos, quesadillas and even smores! Special hours where all ages are welcome are 3-7pm Monday thru Saturday, Sundays 12pm- 7pm and then the 21+ party begins from 7pm to 2am closing. It's usually a fun atmosphere whether you want to zone out and play games or mingle with the dance crowd. Attached on one is also another bar called Bueller's. It's a must see for 80's movie buffs.

I've been a regular of this place basically since its' opened and I've always enjoyed it. This review is toward the bartender today Monday, Dec. 2, 2024 at 2p.m. and NOT my beloved Rad!

My bf and I have been craving their pizza for some time and I was excited to go for their Monday pizza deal, which we've been enjoying a few Mondays already (don't judge, they're delicious!) Well, we saw that they opened at 2 and we walked in no later than 2:03. We ordered the pizza probably 2 minutes later. We sat at the bar to wait and we opted not to get a drink since my bf worked at 3:30. At 2:24 I asked the bartender if it was almost done and her response was a, "NO, about 10 more minutes". So we sat there. At 2:37 I asked again if it was almost done because it had been 13 minutes since she had said 10 minutes. She looked at me and said with a snooty look on her face and attitude in her voice, "it's cuz the kitchen opens at 3 and I had to make the pizza". I proceeded to say she should've said that from the beginning but she walked away to check the pizza. She comes back saying it was halfway done. I couldn't believe my ears. It has never taken more than 15 minutes, let alone 40. I understand, you're a bartender, not a cook. However, the lack of communication from the get go but rather informing us with attitude after waiting over half an hour already was unprofessional. The added snarkiness was uncalled for and that's what really upset us. We had to get our money back and rush home because so much time was killed. We'll probably be back at one point because literally every other time we've had great service, even when they're busy! But for now, this experience has left a...
