Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in El Paso

Dear Popeyes-It amazes me that a restaurant chain can be in business this long given that the customer service is poor! Over the years, I have visited several different Popeyes in different cities and states. While the food is good (for the most part) the CUSTOMER SERVICE is very poor! I have experienced rude employees, employees that appear to not know what specials they are offering (even when a huge poster is displayed in the store window!). These comments include management staff. In the last week, I visited Store #10869 twice and received the same poor customer service both times. Suffice it to say that I will not be returning to any Popeyes in the future. My visit on 12 Feb 2022 was the straw that broke the camel's back. I placed an order via the mobile app for a "curbside" pick up (#1020021, store 3 10869). When I arrived at the store to pick up my order, there were no pick-up parking spaces marked. I asked the employee at the drive-through window and the reaction was as if I were speaking in a foreign language, this with what appeared to be some member of management standing next to the employee. After repeating a few times, the drive-through employees told me "You have to go through the drive-through lane". Then when I got to the window, this same employee tried to charge me for my order which was already paid for. Then, after some confusion on his part, the "manager" intervened and told him to get the order that was already packed. The employee then asked me what I ordered, and after explaining and showing him the receipt on my phone, he handed me the bag and stated "I guess this is it". Popeyes- YOU need to fix your customer service problem at this and many of your other stores!A Google search shows that this is not an isolated issue, but one that is typical of stores throughout the country.I honestly do not know how your restaurant can continue to stay in business with such poor...

My wife went to the store and ordered the same order 9-10piece bucket on special the way we always want it half white spicy and half dark regular take out with 2 large red beans no biscuits on take out. We received we found out when she got home all spicy 9 pieces 2 breast and 7 wings for $18.99 plus tax. I do not want spicy myself that is why we order the dark meat regular. I called the Manager on duty and he talked to #26 and she told him that my wife ordered all spicy I said no we come there on average 3 times a month and get the same order which is not all spicy. He said I could bring it back and I said I was not wasting the time and gas to go there. he said he needed the product back to prove to his manager what happened. as if our word and the employee #26 saying what happened was not good enough. we were not trying to get a free meal just some kind of offer of good faith. when I told him that the wings were dry we went back to I need you to bring it back. I have a picture of the spicy breast and wings. The young lady needs to pay better attention to the customer. I told the manager on duty that if the older man that works there most evenings is there or when he is there he could tell him what the long blonde haired lady always orders which is not all spicy. very disappointed...

I love the chicken sandwiches from here. I came to get the new 'pickle menu' items including the pickle lemonade. My husband and I tried both versions, frosted and iced. I preferred the frosted and he preferred the iced. I liked it enough to get it again, but the star ✨ of the menu was the fried pickles; crispy, not overpowering, and served with ranch dipping sauce. The chicken sandwich is always a banger no matter what type of sauce or glaze they add. I think it will always hold a special place in my heart. I also really love the tenders with the various dipping sauces they offer. Even though I didn't get any of them during this visit, they are a solid choice for people who like crispy chicken tenders. I think the atmosphere is nice, but the booths look like the fabric hasn't been properly cleaned since the building was first furnished and the tops of the sections are in a similar state of uncleanliness. If you can get past that, the decor is charming and homey. It's a little loud inside, but what restaurant isn't these days? I would recommend taking your food to go if you have a low threshold for noisy and crowded places as it was pretty busy when we went. I would recommend this place's drive thru to anyone who enjoys fried chicken and Cajun-style sides like red...
