We love your place, but yesterday that we went we nearly had our night ruined by not only the bartender, but the server as well. I made a reservation at 9pm, and the moment we arrived the server sat us and told us we had arrived at a time crunch and had to hurry to put in our order. Why make a reservation at 9pm if you are going to make your clients feel rushed and not only uneasy but unwelcomed. We felt like we were being kicked out before we even sat down. Every time she came to our table we had to hear about how tired she was and how long of a night it had been. I was there to have a good time not hear your employee complain about her job during my dining experience. You work a 6 hour shift, get over it! Tell me you are tired when you at least work full time... We then asked her when was last call and she said âlike nowâ and we told her then we would like to put in a drink order, which we did. She then came back and told us that she could not fulfill our drink order because the bartender had already cleaned the bar, because last call was at 9:45, it was 9:50. I asked her why she didnât tell us it was last call and she stated she told us we arrived at a time crunch, and the only thing available were shots. I told her that was no excuse and as our server she should of as a courtesy came and told us it was last call in case we wanted to order something else. She just shrugged her shoulder and said she apologized. Bottom line donât make a reservation at 9pm if you cannot properly serve someone at that time. Especially if you are going to make their dining experience feel like a race for time. Last time we went at the same time and the owners were there, best believe there was no rush there from the server or bartender that time. But I guess since it was just them two, they thought they could do whatever they wanted in order to leave at the time they wanted. I know she heard me about leaving a review, because she was quick to offer a 25% discount for my âinconvenienceâ, or better said her lack of service. Either extend your hours and hire more staff or donât make reservations the last hour you open. And Iâm confused are you a bar or restaurant? Because if you are a restaurant I understand your hours, other than at restaurants there is no last call for food, that is usually at bars. And if you are a bar your hours are way off, just saying.... and donât make your own hours for things, follow what is on your website. Because the time we made a reservation before we were told your kitchen closed at 10:00 and we arrived at 9:30 and were then told that day you decided to close your kitchen at 9:30??? We had planned to eat, but I guess not.... Again...
Read moreThe venue was quite pleasant on the inside, but the service left much to be desired. Upon our arrival, we were asked if we had a reservation to which we replied ânoâ. We were then informed by the hostess that she had multiple reservations, and since we did not have one, our only option was to sit at the bar despite there being around 10 vacant tables. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks, which were delightful. The food was also exceptional. While we were enjoying our meal, a couple entered, and the hostess inquired if they had a reservation, just as we had been asked. The couple replied that they did not have a reservation, and the hostess then escorted them to a table. This was somewhat odd, as we were told we had to sit at the bar due to not having a reservation, even with about 10 empty tables available. When we received our bill, it totaled $142, which puzzled us since we had only ordered 2 Mochiko Chicken at $16.99 each, along with a side of rice, a side of mac and cheese, a mojito, a Moscow mule, and one cocktail. We were ready to settle the bill when the bartender mentioned he had made an error and provided us with the wrong tab. He then presented us with the correct bill, which was $92.00. Upon reviewing the bill, I noticed that the Moscow mule was priced at $20.00. I can't recall ever visiting a place that charged that much for a Moscow mule. At that moment, we felt uncomfortable and decided to leave, so we paid the bill and left. We will not be coming back. Also, I reviewed their menu once we got home and the Moscow mule isnât even on the menu. Did they just make up their own price at...
Read moreDecided to try this restaurant after having it recommended to us. We made a reservation for 4 at 5pm on a Saturday, once the doors opened the person opening the door promptly at 5pm didnt greet us until we engaged in conversation. The hostess asked if we had a reservation inwhich we answered yes, but we weren't even asked for a reservation name. when we were sat at a table they were still preparing them for service. We were also seated at a small table, others who arrived as only couples were seated at much larger tables. Our waitress upon knowing that this was our 1st visit did not go out of her way to encourage our experience. We were brought water in plastic cups and noticed once other patrons began arriving they were given glass cups for their water. Our order which included the drinks were brought out 1 item at a time. The drinks were a little to strong for us to enjoy and we expected them to be in tiki cups. The food was great we had the ribs, pork belly, and tuna poke bowl. Might be the only reason we give it another try. When it was time for the bill, our bill got lost, the waitress came to ask us what we had to drink, so we tried to engage in laughter with her by moving our glasses and telling her just water. She chose to not engage and knowingly told us the drinks we had ordered. Our to go containers was a paper bowl with saran wrap. Maybe some more training/preparedness may improve the...
