Visit El Paso Information Center — Attraction in El Paso

This rating is based solely on the interaction I had with this organization's sales manager, Lisa Farris. She contacted me through Craigslist to buy snowshoe props for an event, Winterfest. She requested my PayPal information and an invoice. She said she'd arrange shipping from NM - that went on for over a week. How difficult is it to arrange shipping actually? Then she asked if I could take them to her friend's shop across town and far from where I'm located, and the friend would ship them to El Paso for her. I agreed and sent the invoice. Four days after the invoice was sent, she contacted me and was seemingly disinterested in paying a $20 fee (that she offered) for my time, for the inconvenience of holding the props for several weeks and for my gas. She then ignored the invoice, never paid it and never contacted me to cancel her order. Makes me to think she was scamming and doing something dishonest and using her employer's email to do so. We been doing events there for a while now, Management is absolutely horrible unethical and careless They mistreat vendors and public in general But they'll make a profit out you if they can't they just ignore you They will tow away vendors vehicles from the loading parking lot even if you bought the overpriced and absurd parking permit (that they should at least have the common decency of giving you access to free parking since we are bringing business to them and already pay to have presence at their venues) On top of that vendors have to pay 7 pr 8 dllrs for parking, overpriced and disgusting food. Sad to see bad elements managing our Civic Center this way, This reflects largely in how people from out of town see us and want to do...
