"Girls Night From Hll"... First, I must say that I know Friday nights could be kind of hectic, but this was a little more than that. We sit at our seats and kindly help the waitress gather the dishes off the table. One of my guest even wiped the table for her with a napkin . We were in a great mood and just wanted to have a good time. So after a while, two of my guest get their drinks, and I get my food. I finish my food, and didn't even get a "start you off" water. I asked numerous times, but remained thirsty (but at least least I ate, unlike my friends, who were still waiting for their food). Which is all OK, we just wanted to have a good time. They finally get their food, and I still have no drink. My two guest still cannot eat because, they haven't received any utensils. About 45 minutes pass, and I finally get my drink, and my first still do not have any utensils. My guest begin to eat the Cole slaw with their fingers, and then the rest of their food. But Again, we just want to have a good time, so we weren't complaining. As my guest finish their food, we ask for a napkin for the "umpteenth" time, since we sat down. (We never received any napkins or utensils the whole time). As the check came in, we gave Passion, the waitress our credit cards. She disappeared for a whole half hour. We get our checks, and we are overcharged. Passion brings out the second set of receipts. As, we are explaining how the receipts were overcharged, she yells out loud "Let me figure this out!" I was in shock, but everyone has their moments, and she was certainly having hers. Passion begins to go even further by yelling at my guest that it was our fault, because we sat her table. (Which makes no sense at all.) We remain entirely calm the whole time, because we actually feel sorry for Passion, she must be going through something. We leave, but I realized I didn't get my parking pass validated. So, I go back in. As I was in the parking lot, she screams "You didn't pay your tab!!!" I was absolutely MORTIFIED! I came back in, and realized she made the mistake when she kept mixing up or receipts. I told her ok, but she kept saying "Don't you agree that I didn't charge you!" As if I ever was arguing with her. Passion caused such a scene, that was so embarrassing and rude. (Even though this whole situation was caused alley by her, and we remained polite the whole time.) I'm a professional who spends alot of time in the public, and it was awful to experience her behavior in front of people in the city. The hostess at the front, asked me if I wanted to speak with a manager. I said sure. A man came out in a suit, and said that he understands. Then the manager gave me his card. I left his card at the podium, Why would I take your card, if you did nothing to help the situation like, or sincerely apologize for what happened?* I do not recommend this place to anyone. We came as a party of 8 for our traditional GNO birthday dinner. Our reservation was at 7p, everyone was on time.
We were seated right away, our server + a trainee we're friendly brought our menus and took our drinks and food order which included several appitzers and steaks all around, it's seven guys and a girl after all and we came to eat and celebrate!! But that's where the good times ended, I guess we should have gone to Morongo Casino for the "Good Times" not to end (that's Morongo's tagline in their commercials, LOL)
We're usually a group of jokes, laughs and fun, so much so that at others GNO we've had customers say they want to join us. After an unusual long period of time, we got quiet and then we realized we never got our drinks, we never got any bread and only two glasses of water.
We called the server over and she said they ran out of glasses for the water, guess that explains why we only got two glasses of water for eight of us. I do like my water in a clean glass, but I what I really like is a drink drinky and last time I dined out the adult libations are not served in the glasses they use for water.
As we sat there puzzled by the explanation, we noticed that behind the bar there were three bartenders, two that weren't really do much of anything and only one making drinks, none that were ours. Next thing I noticed was that several servers were huddled together at the register, exactly how many servers does it take to work a register? As I kept looking trying to figure out what was going on, the server said they were entered our order. WE HAVE NOW BEEN SEATED FOR 45 MINUTES AND ONLY HAVE TWO GLASSES OF WATER!
Aside from us being a fun group we are prudy easy going, if they had come to us, said something and maybe told us they'd comp us an appetizer it would have been fine, but not one staff member said anything at all so we got up and left,
A couple of the guys stayed back to talk to the manager. They had to wait for him too and as he made his way to the front he was stopped by another party that was also complaining about the service. My friends said he had no explanation and seemed unfazed. He did offer to pick up the bill if we came back, but who would take the chance of having their food spit in.

Today I was craving for a Blackened Ribeye steak with mashed potatoes and a glass of red wine. My food was so good, I want to thank the chef and all the cooks in the kitchen to making my dinner good. I always rate the place of how it looks, and the quick services but this review goes to all the people in the kitchen who made it possible for all of us to have a nice dinner tonight, so thank you ( cooks ) your doing awesome.

Today was my son's birthday and I ask him where would you like to go and he said to me " Paul Martin's American Grill " So I made reservations for 7 people for 8:15pm May 13, 2017 ( Just a note here I called them on May 12, 2017 ) When got there I said to the front desk party of 7 for Irvine, the guy said wait a couple of minutes.
As we got seated down I just felt like everyone there greeted us at the door, seated us down, got us Evian water, took great care of us and at no time was the service bad, it was off the charts 200% pure services here.
I had the New York Steak with a glass of wine I never had a great steak like this before, super good, I just don't know what to say about the food, but 10 star for sure. And at the end of our dinner party, they brought the cake with candles on it for my son ( Sahm Irvine ) and me and the wife almost stared to cry why....the happiest moments of our life is being right here at Paul Martin American Grill they made it so great that I will never forget this.
This goes to the staff that help us here, Thank you very much you guys made it all great for me and my family and that goes to the cook as well, you prepared the food the way we all wanted, just wanted to let you know cooks, you guys rock too, and this goes for the management, you have a great team of workers there excellent customer service.
