Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Elizabeth City

had an extremely disappointing and hurtful experience at this Chipotle location. I came in to pick up a mobile order with my emotionally supportive dog (a mini dachshund) held quietly in my arms — he wasn’t making a sound, just calmly with me as he always is. Despite this, the entire staff stared at me and openly talked about us in a rude and judgmental way. It was humiliating.

Eventually, a manager approached me to say they were “not animal friendly” and maria (the mobile order worker) handed me my order. I chose to leave quietly and eat outside to avoid further discomfort. When I opened my food, I found my bowl smashed — as if someone had deliberately crushed it. The contents were leaking everywhere.

Still trying to be polite, I went back inside (without my dog) to use the restroom. That’s when I overheard the employee at the mobile order station, Maria, loudly telling coworkers that I had brought in a “nasty furry dog” and called me “disgusting.”

I left feeling dehumanized and deeply disrespected. This kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable, especially from a company that serves the public.The staff at this location clearly needs training on professionalism, inclusivity, and basic...

I waited over 2 hours for my food and they didn’t start making my food until 10 minutes before closing at 9:50 when I kept telling people my name and people kept telling me at 9 they were working on it when the clearly WERNT. When they gave me my food they slammed it down in front of me and said we’re out of chips call customer service and stormed off without letting me even say a word. I then checked my order there before leaving and everything was completely wrong even though I waited two hours for my order, my order had no veggies no brisket and no chicken, they didn’t tell me any of that stuff that wasn’t on there so if I just went home, I would’ve realize my order was completely wrong and when I said, excuse me trying to be nice saying my order was messed up. They said oh we’ve been out that stuff even though the entire time I was there so many people were getting chips, brisket and everything I would never come here again. The customer service was horrible. There were some people trying to help me which I appreciate, but the people that gave my food was not nice at all if I could give this place...

This chipotle has been hit or miss since it opened but tonight sealed the deal for me not coming back. I am the only one in line, I think the lady working the line is new but she was very nice. I asked her for extra rice and she gave me like a normal serving but then her trainer/manager comes over and scolds her for it and proceeds to take a spoonful of rice out of my bowl right in front of me. The young lady is obviously scared of getting scolded again so I proceeded to get the most minuscule portions I’ve ever gotten. I got my wife Guac on the side of her veggie bowl because she doesn’t like having it right on the bowl and apparently according to the manager it is only free if you get it on the bowl. That’s the first I’ve ever heard of that and if you order through the app they won’t charge you for it on the side. Total scam. Will not be returning. Would rather make the drive to VA and give my money to Moe’s. I hope that young lady gets a better job elsewhere because...
