Did an incentive on Black Friday to switch from T-mobile that included 4 lines for around the price I was paying at T-mobile for 2 lines.
Quite the deal.
Haven’t activated the other 2 lines because I was planning on surprising my parents with new phones. While waiting on the perfect moment to present the phones, my wife’s new iPhone’s screen was having a malfunction that requires the phone to be hard reset in order for the screen to illuminate. If it clicked off to sleep mode, it will not illuminate without a reset.
Now I’ll be completely honest, the screen is cracked. Nothing crazy, I’ve dealt with way worse in my days of replacing my own screens when I was reckless and didn’t insure anything. We were all and young once. But in my tech experience, it really seems like a faulty LCD screen. Nothing a little warranty won’t fix, right?
So, we traveled to Elizabeth City to clear a few questions we had regarding these two iPhones. The staff had nearly no interest in helping me and my wife. Their excuse was we didn’t purchase them from that particular store.
We didn’t buy them from a store, it was a pop-up tent outside a Target with two gentlemen in AT&T attire… We were just hoping to find some in-person help and insight after attempting call backs with the Customer service number.
Turns out, NONE of our lines are insured, which is just ridiculous. The staff cannot help you with any service, other than signing you up for contracts they truly have zero knowledge of. It’s actually so incredibly despicable. Outright wrong.
Their Manger, Jasmine was particularly super rude and unprofessional and quite honestly unknowledgeable. We provided the receipts, the phones themselves, phone numbers, SIM cards and left there with more questions than answers.
If the General Manger, Terri Gonzalez would like to reach out to either apologize to my wife or even help us wit this matter, I would greatly...
Read moreThis store lied to my wife and I. The young man working said he hated his job and was quitting soon. We went in to take advantage of the iphone bogo offer. After asking alex what our total bill would be he replied "around 98 an month". So then I asked if that included taxes and fees and he replied "yes". He then followed that answer with "and when your 21.67 credit begins appearing it will be even lower, around 76 a month". My wife and I were really excited about our new phones. It concerned me a little that he was so carefree and did not ask us to sign anything. He kept talking about how he hated his job as there were three families in the store and only he was working. So he hurried us through. Well low and behold our bill is not what Alex promised. Our bill is 132. And after we begin to receive our monthly credit for the free phone it goes down to 115 a month. These people are dishonest and told us our bill would be 40 less than what we were billed. This is terrible as our bill is 50% higher than we agreed to. This is unacceptable behavior. I called the manager a week ago and he said he would look into and call us...
Read moreCalled store ahead of time to make sure they do for me what I needed. They said and so I asked what time they were open till l, said 7. Drive 25 min to the store and there's a sign on the door saying they're close till 10a the next day apple preordering. Called the store again and the associate said they were closed for lunch....closed the whole store for lunch at 530p. Hmmmm. Then stated she didn't have a chance to get lunch earlier and wasn't sure when she's open the store back up because she also had training to do... When she opened the store for a customer I was able to speak to her and told her that I needed a sim card even though I needed the device activated. I waited outside till she got me a new sim and walked in and paid for it. So.... If you're looking for good customer service I'd consider else where. Not the first time a problem at this store either. Unfortunately it's the only at&t option unless you want to make a hour drive. So just because Google says they're open or an associate tells you they'll be open doesn't mean they will even if it's only 25...
