I rarely post this negative of a review. I understand the difficulty in running a fast food restaurant and getting good workers BUT I have been going to this Taco Bell since it opened. We are consistent in eating here at least once every two weeks. The service has gone down. Some of the staff is rude, ignores you, and acts as if it is a chore to take or fill your order. For example (this has occurred multiple times..lately) we ordered some food to go after eating inside and waited 10-15 minutes, went back to the counter, and tried to get the person to acknowledge us behind the counter which would be fine if they were busy (they were not), then asked about our order to go and received nasty looks and responses. We wait for another 5 to 10 minutes for them to make the single order. I watch as the select order filled even though it was not so their clock will stay in a compliant range. I understand fast food and restaurants as I had 4 as a managing partner ( and built a new one). Also..there is no way on God's green earth that this restaurant has a 100 on their health inspection score..that would require gloves and hair nets...BE CLEAN..etc, I watched cross-contamination, and front-line workers making food...smh.I give this two stars instead of 1 because at times there are some really good workers running...
Read moreI've worked fast food before, so I can watch a team, management, and flow of timely food. I thought the team was working their collective buts off. What I saw was they needed one more person working the counter. The computer terminals are not a employee. I was talking with other customers, many don't like those terminals. No combo numbers to simply choose for one thing. The drive through guy was working the drive through and the counter but he was getting swamped. None of the line crew ever looked to see if anybody needed anything, not really their job but they tried. Not having the third person really made the simple fulfillment, the empty soda change out (which happened) the quick wipe down of tables, the drink that didn't get served. The terminals can't do those things. Where was the shift lead or management? I will think twice before I go there again. I love tacos and Toco Bell does very well. But the management/ probably the ownership is dropping the ball. The three guys did great without the fourth man help but the over all goal to serve and flow and fill in where needed, fell short by a mile. The stress you put on your help is obvious. Read moreMy parents had ordered online with the Taco Bell app. This Taco Bell had taken money from their account. They were going to pick up their food when the person on the speaker had told them that whatever-it-was wasn't working. They wouldn't MAKE THE FOOD because of the app TAKING MONEY OUT OF THEIR ACCOUNT!
Not to mention, they screwed up our order MANY times!
Don't go to this one. Go to the one on Ehringhaus. They have a less likelihood of messing up YOUR order.
[Update: Since they've been opened for a couple years, thought that things would change. One of the employees, whom had gloves on, was touching my boxes and bag with GUACAMOLE hands! What if I had been allergic to Avocado?! Unsanitary!!! Yet, they had a perfect score for a sanitary rating! One of the Mild sauce packets I had was BUSTED OPEN. And I didn't get my Creamy Chipotle Sauce. I got sour cream and my Nacho cheese sauce for my chips. Still...
