Circle II Restaurant — Restaurant in Elizabeth City

The older lady at the front does NOT acknowledge people, when they walk in. Stood there with my family, waiting, as this was the first time in the establishment, so we didn't know if we were to wait, or seat ourselves. SHE WAS SO RUDE! I said excuse me, do we just seat ourselves, and she still made no eye contact! She said yes, and turned her back! OBVIOUSLY TOO BUSY FOR HER CUSTOMERS. WE SHOULD HAVE TURNED AROUND AND WALKED OUT THEN, but we said we would give it a try. I watched her behave this way with another customer (a black gentleman), who was waiting for her to stop what she was trying to look busy doing. She did NOT acknowledge him, either! SHE ACTUALLY WALKED AWAY! Thia is NOT the kind of person you want your customers coming in contact with, if you want them to keep coming back (IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU'RE THE OWNER...RUDE IS RUDE!! We found ourselves a booth, and ordered our food. WE NEVER ATE! AFTER AN HOUR, WE WERE STILL WAITING ON FOOD! We heard yelling in the background, and eventually our waitress came out, as we were getting up to leave, and said staff were walking out, and she was trying to get someone to make our food. She and another waitress were the ONLY staff members that seem to have some kind of sense, with how to treat people. Take your chances, if you wish...maybe you will have a better experience...

Just tried to call in an order for pick up. Girl was trying to rush order. I had to explain each entree because they came with sides which she didn't ask for. She kept saying is that all? I asked if she was in a hurry? Was uncomfortable. She left the phone and came back saying they arent sure if they are hiring. I didn't ask if they were hiring. I asked to speak with someone else. The manager, Christian said just because you are a regular customer doesn't make you royalty. No but it makes me not be a customer ever again. Then he told me i could complain to anyone I wanted to. All I tried to do was order take out. I never complained or was rude. It was like the twilight zone. That wont happen again. I canceled the order. Too many nice restaurants in town that arent rude. Wow. Thete was no cussing or rudeness. There was no reason to hang up on me because i asked to speak with someone else. And this lie told in your response is indicative of other complaints against you that I didn't believe. Guess...

My wife and I tried to eat here for breakfast. We were seated in just a couple minutes and brought our drinks. I asked for a coffee and my wife got a Coke Zero. The waitress never came back to the table, no creamer for the coffee and we weren’t able to order food. We sat there for 15+ minutes waiting and nobody. My wife went to the register to pay for her coke and told the waitress we were going somewhere else. The waitress said, don’t worry about paying for the coke. Nobody ever showed any care, any remorse, didn’t try to take care of us, offer to get a waitress or anything. I will not bother to come back because of the seemingly nonchalant I don’t care attitude. Good luck as the people beside us had been waiting on their bill to be brought and never got it. They had to go to the register...
