Pine & Porch — Restaurant in Elizabeth City

Happened upon this quaint and cozy shop while searching on Google Maps while visiting the waterfront. Loved the name so took a walk to check it out and was pleasantly surprised not only do they sell really cute items, some from local artists, BUT they also have a small bar area serving beer (cans and on tap) and wine! I love this store SO much! The store has everything you need from cute candles to hand-created shelves to art from local artists. I walked in empty handed and came out with bags filled with lots of new purchases to add some pizazz to my home. The owners, Megan and Tony, put a lot of thought into every single item sold in their store and are so welcoming. Looking forward to hanging here soon when they add their beer/wine bar! Punk on the Porch was awesome. I came for Run Hill and Live Nude Surfers, but I'll be returning as soon as I can to experience it better. This place is so cool. I love seeing gems like this in our little city. Not a lot of places have punk shows for the whole family. The vibe here is a relaxed one with an appreciation for the little things in life, such as good music, great friends, and amazing beverages. Can't wait...
