The pizzas are AMAZING & off the chain...reminds me of what I’d have when i visit NYC, Baltimore, Philly, Tampa, Orlando, LA, or any other great food destinations!!! Would definitely recommend ... hands down!

But the quality is the saving grace of this new modern chic pie house in downtown Elizabeth City!

What will end up killing this business if not addressed soon (as in yesterday)...are the opening hours and the lack of a phone number for take-out service or order ahead. I know numerous customers have asked about this and I can say the feelings aren’t great. A business should have these details sorted out prior to opening...not a “see-as-you-go” model...if you want to be successful.

I want this place to be successful because I think it brings a quality and atmosphere that downtown has been lacking, and recommend it as often as i could...but even I am growing tired of the odd hours for this place and the lack of no contact info except to drive to the shop itself.

My point...it is located steps away from 2 bars and other restaurants downtown yet opens from 11:30 am to 7 pm only Tuesday to Saturday...never heard of any great pie house with this sort of business hours ... especially when you’re launching and have amazing products to showcase in...

If negative stars were an option I would use them.

We have been trying to order from this place for a year and yet every time we asked for a menu they didn't have one and couldn't tell us what would be available for us to order. So we waited a couple months before reordering thinking maybe they just needed to work out some kinks. Then called to place takeout orders several times to which they told us they were closing early and wouldn't be able to take our order. To add, on days that they were supposed to be open we would show up and they were closed inexplicably with no notice.

BUT today, today takes the cake! We called to place a take out order around 1245 - which is really early considering they are supposed to be open today until 6PM- took 15 minutes to place the order because the lady on the other end of the phone kept hopping off of the call, then takes our order and name and tells us it will be ready in an hour- show up to pick up our order and told that they didn't have a number to call us and that they dont have our order because they RAN OUT OF DOUGH!

like are you kidding me?!??!? I honestly dont understand how anyone in this town is...

I was a huge fan of this place over the summer. I mean it’s all I talked about when my fiancé and I would go out to dinner dates. Something has changed. The wait staff was super inattentive. The table that arrived 15 minutes after us received there food first. The cheese bread sticks where lacking flavor and honestly the ones at Pizza Hut have better flavor. The crust of the pizza has also changed in some way as it takes plain and almost card boardish. The dipping sauce for the cheesy bread was sold cold and lacking of any substance. The pizza sauce was lacking flavor of all. The tastiest part of the meal was the sausage that was on the pizza. It took 45 minutes into service to get out drinks refilled and the waitress brought us a standard cup of pink lemonade for my daughter who is four… insane. There’s more but this rant needs to stop….. oh yea they knocked 2 slices of our pizza onto the floor when boxing it up for us and didn’t even bother offering to give us a scoop of ice cream or 1/4...

Finally got a chance to try this place for pizza. I typically make the drive to Chesapeake to a certain pizza place because the few other local places here did not measure up....Till now. I ordered the largest pizza they offered To go with pepperoni and cooked well done. Walked in and was greeted by a smiling face and a warm hello. As I awaited with anticipation to see what the pizza pie looked like on the drive home, I was so happy to see the bubbled up pockets of crust bubbles, that glowing warm slightly brown cheese and perfectly placed pepperoni slices when I opened the box. I take a bite. 🤤 The crust was airy and crispy, not too dense. The sauce was floral and brite. All around great pizza. If I had anything really to complain about is that the crust was just a tiny bit too thick. However this will be our local go-to place for pizza. They did a wonderful job making our dinner. We will most certainly be back.

Updated review… ok so we’ve been here several times now went there this evening and I tell you I’m a bit disappointed. Each time we’ve gone it’s been disappointing but this time takes the cake. Didn’t return it bc by the time we got home our grandson was hungry and we weren’t going back. Pizza was burnt, hard and cardboard to the bite. The first couple of times that we went before was actually pretty good the best pizza place in EC but as I mentioned it hasn’t met our expectations the last couple of times that we’ve been. Really do enjoy eating the crust but couldn’t even enjoy that this time it was just too hard and burnt! Pizza are also good for the next day but this particular pizza won’t be that’s for sure. I only gave a 3 star bc they’ve done pretty good before and I have faith so we’ll be back to try again just to see again. Pizza was pretty good but the personal pan pizza was a bit expensive…

This place is amazing!! The atmosphere is very cozy and open. The space is very clean and relaxing. We ordered a vegan veggie pizza and O-M-G 🤩 The veggies were the freshest, the crust was just perfection, and that sauce is soooo flavorful. Two slices was perfect for me and I am normally a 4 slice minimum kinda gal. We will definitely be keeping ECPC on our family date night list ❤️ My son had two slices of the pepperoni (which were huge!) and he was spellbound by the flavors as well. I would also like to note the customer service. Truly awesome! Very warm welcome that made us feel almost like family. The Chef helped us and she has a few new fans. The passion and love for her creations really comes through when you discuss the menu, and ask questions.
