Charles Creek park is a nice park to have an event. There is a nice pavilion with restrooms. There is a boardwalk over the river. There is a place to fish and a playground for the kids.

I loved the boardwalk that had knowledge on the plants and animals of the region.

Lindo parque con un senderito para los niños donde pueden leer sobre los animales qué hay en el río. Los baños están cerrados y los juegos tienen una malla para que los niños estén seguros.

It is a decent place to host an outdoor event or a family picnic day. I have attended a few different events at the park and from my understanding it is parks and rec that handles that area. 2 of the more recent events attended the tables were filth when we arrived towards set up (not just bird and animal feces; that is unavoidable) and one of the events there was a stream of what appeared to be dried vomit. Both the women’s and men’s bathrooms were experiencing some plumbing issues with the toilets backed up to the rim. That’s all of the negative that may have been fixed by now. And the dirty tables let’s be real it’s out door be prepared to clean up some bird mess if you wanna use the tables that’s no one’s fault. The area is beautiful and the playground...

Nice trail with a view of the lake. It's definitely a lot prettier during the spring and summer months since it's a nature trail, but we still like to go during the fall & winter months even though it's a bit mucky looking.

The wooden bridge is up to date & has a decent amount of benches & gazebos for you to rest and take in the view.

They have a little area where I assume dogs can go up, down & around to get a bit of simulation, but I don't think it's off leash. They do have bins & poop bags at the beginning of the...

Wonderful place to take the kids, the parks and rec dept. just put in a new playground for the kids, the pavilion offers plenty of room to sit and eat a lunch. My family LOVES going to see the geese and the ducks, we also enjoy tossing out our fishing lines even if we don't catch anything it's still a great time for...
