My husband and I randomly came in here for lunch. The service was great, Our waitress had a full house but still accommodated us and several other workers were attending to the guests as well. Great first impression aside from the cleanliness which was super. The menu had so many different categories to choose from ranging from a stocked salad section, a variety of hamburger, pastas, pizzas, and Mexican! All of the categories had things that I could eat as a vegetarian and had accommodations that could be made for somebody that is vegan conscious. My husband absolutely loved his barbecue western burger. All of their meat is cooked to serve, and it was a perfect medium. I got a po-boy sandwich which was yummy as well, and they showed us a variety of desserts before we left so of course we left with a gorgeous piece of cheesecake that we can't wait to try! My favorite addition was that their tables promoted the local businesses within Elizabeth. I got a handful of pictures of services that I needed to reach out to anyways, And it really shows what kind of business owners they are! We will certainly be back not just to try many of the things on the menu we wanted to, but to support a...

Hands down one of the best restaurants in and around Elbert/Douglas county. We moved from Denver to Elizabeth this past year and we have frequented Catalina’s a couple times a month if not more. We are not typically interested in going to the same restaurant consistently but that’s how much we love coming here. While it’s not fancy, it is very tasty. The food is actually fresh made (so definitely worth the wait). They have a large menu but everything comes out with that homecooked taste. We’ve seen every waiter and all of them are fantastic, but we have especially seen Fanny the most and we get such great service every time. We have never once had an issue with our orders or customer service. It does get busy because I believe it’s a town favorite but they go above and beyond and I believe the owner takes care of all the employees (from what we can tell of course). Highly recommend if you’re...

Great place overall with a catch! Read further for more

Family owned restaurant referred by the guy who came to install our new dishwasher. We wanted to support local businesses so thought of checking it out. The welcome, service and food pricing is exceptional. One does get all day breakfast here which is a added plus for some. The quality of food does meet expectation but doesn't draw you in or standout from other diners. In addition to all day breakfast and Mex dishes, they also have Italian options like pasta. The family is very friendly and warm. Expectation during rush hours are also set respectfully. The atmosphere is cozy and quiet. Would definitely recommend it but it is not something you would have to go out of your way for. Since they do meet good or better in most case, the overall experience definitely...

While I understand this is a local ā€œfresh madeā€ restaurant, their breakfast is VERY incomplete. $9.99 for 3 pancakes, literally only 3 pancakes. Toast, extra. Scrambled egg, extra. The special was yummy, croissant French toast with marscapone cream inside and a single sliced strawberry atop with two slices of bacon for $12.99. For this price, I will go to B&B in castle rock and get pancakes, eggs, potatoes and bacon. Food was decent, service was good, price not justified (even considering the insane inflation). After tip, $35 for two people to have less than complete breakfast and leave still hungry is not acceptable in my opinion.

The special was a chicken fried steak. Hand-breaded, the real deal. The mashed potatoes were also chunky with the skins on which is how I like it. Gravy was good not at all the best I've ever had. The chicken basil sausage hoagie was excellent. Everything is made fresh after it is ordered. Yes this means you may have to wait a little longer, but it's a wait well worth the time. Staff was friendly and attentive. It's a 40-minute drive from Colorado Springs and about that from Denver; is it worth the drive I think so . Parking in the rear fills up fast, which is a testament of the food.

Small Town diner. Parking in the back and on street. Bench seating and chair seating. Very clean. Great staff. Menu is huge and lots of options. Breakfast all day. Also serve alcohol, ice cream, and kids menu. Foods takes about 30-40 minutes to prepare. Options include sandwiches, salads, seafood, Mexican, burgers, and breakfast. Food was very down to earth and tasty! Single bathrooms with changing tables. Cons: can't think of any, unless you don't like small town plated food. 10/10 would recommend
