Usually, we love chicken express, however we were extremely unimpressed with not only the meal, but the service provided when we called to ask about it.
We ordered Gizzards with corn nuggets and received cheese sticks instead. We ordered a 4 piece tender meal with Mac n cheese. The tenders were so old I literally couldn’t bite into them. The “rolls” were 1/4 size of my palm with both meals and there was no gravy provided with either. Absolutely nothing about the order was even remotely fresh, sides included.
When we called to ask if there was a manager available to speak to, we were told “we’ll if by available you mean on the property, then yes there’s one here, but he is busy at the moment.” Which is understandable, riddle not needed, but understandable. My husband stated he would wait for him to be available, but then the employee on the phone proceeded to hang up on my husband. When he called back to once again, ask about the issues with our order we were just consistently given the run around.
It may not matter to them, but this location has officially lost our business. I don’t know many people here in elk city that recommend this location, which is sad because it did used to be very, very good. But for $26 we expected food we could at least eat. We didn’t want anything free, and honestly didn’t even want a full refund, simply just wanted to make the establishment aware of the issues and the fact that they were providing food that was literally not edible. My husband did ask for a partial refund on the tenders and was told it would not be an issue, and then after all that they told us to drive back to the store for the refund to a card. Still understandable, but completely unprofessional all around and each employee talked to, except the girl who answered the phone the second time, sounded like they couldn’t be bothered with the fact that our order was wrong all around.
Now we’ll be having to cook dinner anyways at 730pm after a very, very long day, when we simply just wanted to enjoy...
Read moreI went to the drive through & ordered a 30 piece meal as we had family coming over for dinner. I live 16 miles away. When I got home, I realized we only received 18 chicken strips. I called & spoke with the manager. He offered to make it right immediately. I told him I couldn't come back that day. He took my name & number & told me to come back the next time I was in town. I went back a few days later. The manager remembered the call, had a note in his hand with my information. He had them cook a new complete order, gave us a free side & free drinks while we waited. He went above & beyond to make sure we left there happy. Although I was upset, I realize mistakes happen & maybe the rest of our order was in another box or something & didn't get put in the bag. Very happy with the service we received from the manager & will be back again. Most customer service doesn't seem to be same as it used to be. Thank you for making...
