Clementine's Cantina — Restaurant in Elkins

I don’t know how Clementine’s Cantina is still in business. The food came out moldy — yes, moldy. The smell alone should’ve been enough to send it back, but seeing actual fuzz on my plate? Unbelievable.

The entire place looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in weeks. Grease on the floors, dust everywhere, and the kitchen? Don’t even get me started — I could see staff handling food with no gloves, wiping their noses, then going right back to work like it’s normal. It’s one of the most unhygienic places I’ve ever stepped foot in.

The vibe behind the scenes is just as bad. You can tell the workers are miserable, and honestly, I don’t blame them. No one deserves to work in that kind of environment. Disorganized, chaotic, and downright filthy.

First, let me just say, I love this place. We stop anytime we need a place to eat in Elkins 9 out of 10 times. I gave it a 4 bc the burritos are stuffed too full you can't eat them. Yes I know, normally being full is a good thing, however, when it can't even be all the way wrapped, it's a bit ridiculous. A spoon full of each ingredient is just too much. If it were less, I could eat the whole thing comfortably and not be coated after. Putting so much on there also means you can't get one bite with all the ingredients. Half the taco is the meat, beans and rice and the other half is toppings. It takes 3 bites to get it all and thats a ton. This place is a hidden gem that absolutely deserves all the hype it can get. From the moment you walk in, the relaxing atmosphere sets the tone for an incredible experience. Whether you’re looking for a spot to unwind, catch up on work..or just enjoy a nice meal with your favorite person like me and my husband did THIS PLACE IS TOP TEIR ! 🏆The food? Absolutely phenomenal. We got the bowls and everything was freshly prepared, bursting with flavor, and clearly made with care and quality ingredients.The owner was so friendly !!!
