Costa Vida Fresh Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Elko

Horrible service from the second we walked in. We waited for 15+ minutes to even order. Then when it was finally our turn, we asked the employee waiting on us which salsa was the mild one and the guy laughed at us and just said, "uh, mild." He didn't even listen to our last 2 orders and had to ask us to repeat several times. We waited for 10+ minutes more before moving on, then we realised the all the orders in the line waiting before us were messed up. All of the food was out order, the employees didn't know who's order went to who. Total confusion. One gal working just told the guy ahead us to go ahead and take a random order he said wasn't even his. One of our burritos got handed off to another guy, even though we tried to tell her 3 times that one was ours. Out of 3 of our orders, 1 made it to the end of the line. While we were trying to figure out where all of our food went the gal ringing us up nonchalantly said, "Well do you just want me to ring you up?" Um no! We didn't even have most of our order. Also, the burners weren't working so an employee was on the ground trying to light them with rolled up paper, which was very unsuccessful. None of the employees seemed too upset that the customers were fed up with the lack of service provided. No apologies, just placing blame on someone else that was working there. Needless to say, we walked out. I will not be returning...

If I could give 0 stars I would. I am extremely disappointed with the service and the food. We went there and got a special and a burrito. Both 7.99 but the special was a Childs size and my boyfriend was not satisfied at all. Not to Mention the portions they gave us. JUSTIN made our food and measured out such little portions. Especially with how cheap beans are, I could count my beans in my burrito. He gave me such little portions inside that when I was eating it, the tortilla overwhelmed everything else and it was barely like a burrito, more like a tortilla with a few toppings. Justin also dumped half of my sauce out and so my food was so dry.

Also the other thing is they trick you into thinking they are nice, they asked for if I wanted guacamole and I didn’t know it was 1$ more. So I ended up paying more.

Overall this place left a bad taste in my mouth, not only literally but...

I went in to elko Costa vida 2 times on Sunday March 14th, 2021.

The first time I walked in there was a large line and 2 people working. I walked out and decided to come back when it was a little less busy. 2nd time I came back hour later 2 people working the front. One guy was busting his but trying to help out the line of people that had been waiting awhile. I waited 40 mins in line to get out. Brandon did his best with what he could, 2nd person the girl running the register was not much of help for Brandon. She didn't help much with anything as that guy is busting and working his but off. There need to be more people scheduled during the day and make sure employees are trained to help out as team work. That poor worker needed extra help and from what I could see he did...
