Traveling through Elko and stopped to eat lunch. My order was burnt and the veggies were not cooked. When I asked why they didn’t cook the vegetables the staff said they were cooked. I told them they were not cooked. Then they told me that I was eating too early for the vegetables to be cooked because it takes hours for the water to get hot enough to cook them. So 12:30 is too early to eat there. The chicken was really charred and not edible. I asked for a refund and was told no. I didn’t not eat anything from the bowl. Then the staff went to hide in the back. The 3 girls that worked there were very rude. I would not recommend eating at this Teriyaki Madness .I have eaten here at different locations and in other states and never had a problem. This location has poor management and rude staff. Go to Costa Vista next store and avoid wasting money here.

I am the "Teriyaki Chicken Bowl King!" Seriously, lived in Japan for years, lived on teriyaki chicken bowls in college and we make them at home often. Blah Blah Blah... I was super skeptical about this place but did not want typical fast food while traveling so we gave it a try. The chicken was prepared fresh, took a little while, chopped up and placed on top of rice and vegetables. The chicken (thighs) were cooked well, teriyaki/eel sauce was pretty good, vegetables were OK, no broccoli. The resturant was clean, bathrooms were very clean and large. I'm happy we stopped. I think they should add more rice to fill out the bowls, we are talking pennies here to add significant customer perception of value. They have saracha, wish they had chili garlic sauce.

We went to have dinner here. The waiting times wasnt that bad despite the local was empty. 2 medium bowls and 1 large drink for share was between 30-35 bucks, probably with two large drinks would go up to around 40. A little bit expensive for the size of the servings in my opinion. Fried rice was good and teriyaki chicken too. My wife got noodles and spicy chicken and was good too. Because of the price probably we wont go again having so many good/cheaper options around them.

My husband and I were excited to try Teriyaki Madness after moving to Elko, but after three frustrating experiences, we’ve decided we will not be coming back. Each time we’ve visited, we placed our order, paid, and then were told after the fact that they were out of key ingredients—an unacceptable and avoidable issue that speaks to poor management and customer service.

Most recently, on Thursday, June 5th, we walked in and specifically asked the cashier if they were out of any food before ordering. She assured us everything was available, so I ordered a tofu bowl with noodles and vegetables, and my husband ordered a spicy chicken bowl. After paying, we sat down to wait, only to be approached by a staff member informing us that they were out of spicy tofu—despite confirming its availability beforehand. When I was asked if I’d like to substitute it with chicken, I explained that I am a vegetarian, making the substitution impossible.

After three failed attempts to dine here, we’ve lost any confidence in this establishment’s ability to serve customers reliably. Teriyaki Madness needs to address their inventory issues and ensure honest communication with patrons. Until then, we won’t be giving them another chance.

I would appreciate it if management or corporate could reach out to discuss this situation...

This is based solely on customer service. stopped in from California, walk in , look to my right and the staff were hanging out in the lobby. On their phones w feet kicked up. One girl gets up and goes to the counter n says w thee absolute nastiest tone “ what did u guys want?” I was puzzled as she never gave us a second to look over the menu. I reply “ one moment please.” She then rolls her eyes n then gives me the “ death stare” as if to say “ hurry up, I’m missing my show” At that point I did not feel comfortable consuming food prepared or handled from that sort of low vibrational energy. Not only that, the place was so dirty I was concerned about the cleanliness of the kitchen. I mean after all, raw meat is prepared there. I politely turned and departed and went across the way to costa vida, where I was met w friendly service in a professional atmosphere. Food might be great but customer service was so poor I never got to experience it. Manager needs to address...

Absolutely love this chain so I stopped in while passing through on a road trip to California. Unfortunately, although the product was great and up to par, the service was not. They were incredibly understaffed and behind on orders. The service was extremely slow, which didn't sit well as I was trying to do a quick grab and go. Only one employee was wearing a mask which I found odd, as most food places across the country are requiring it of all employees. I also ordered a junior bowl and received a regular when they brought the food over, which I then saw she also charged me for. It made sense that she wasn't paying attention because when I originally walked up to the window to finally order after waiting almost 30 mins, I first said, "Hi, how are you?" and she starred at me blankly with no response waiting to say what I wanted. Could be a good location if they made a few tweaks. Otherwise, all staff were friendly and kept calm during the rush given...
