D & M Coffee Canyon — Restaurant in Ellensburg

Pulled up to an empty building, trying unsucessfully to avoid their sprinklers hitting our just-washed car. Employee who was obviously bothered to have to help customers marched over to the window and condescendingly asked that we go to the other side of the building so that our driver side would be at the window. Great drive-through coffee stand, just off I-90. As a drive-through, it obviously has no ambiance, but they had great coffee, friendly (and talkative) baristas who asked the right questions to get our drink right (how many shots of espresso and how many shots of caramel sauce). We were even greeted with the word "Howdy." Coffee tasted just right, exactly as we ordered. Easy-to-access location just off I-90, perfect for a traveler...

Staff is great here. You won't get more professional or friendly service at a coffee stand in many places in WA. They are not faking it like other people or coffee chains. The quality of the coffee is great, much care was taken to craft the beans correctly off site. The baristas make a quality white chocolate Americano & are probably over educated for their jobs.
