Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Ellensburg

Where do I begin? I travel from the Seattle region six nights out of the week to Richland and then back. I have been immensely impressed with the attitude and level of customer service from multiple young employees since I have been frequenting this location the last couple of months. It all starts with upper management of course, but the majority of the credit goes to Lucas the store manager who just inherently knows how to hire the right people for the job. These young men and women aren’t just doing their job begrudgingly like some young employees at other food venues, but they have the best attitude in where you can tell that their environment is fun for them as it prominently comes across in the way they interact with the customer. Not only do they have exemplary people skills but every one of them is quite intelligent and moving on to bigger and better things in their lives ultimately, whether with the same company, or doing their own thing. On a separate note, the drinks are done just right, and are very reasonably priced. I get that I’m from Seattle where everything is overpriced, but you’re definitely getting what you pay for here.

So Lucas, Kyle, Brenna, Logan, Mikayla, ( hope I spelled it right ) and some of the others whose names I can’t remember offhand, rock on with your bad ( as in “awesome” for those who don’t know the lingo )...

After driving for 14 hours and finally getting through the maze to get to the drive thru at 5 am and ordering. I went to hand the associate cash, I was told that they didn't take cash, only cards, I explained I only had cash and that I didnt see any signs on the building or windows stating no cash, she said that there was a sign "out there" stating they only accepted cards. I told her that she would have to keep the drinks already made then. When I pulled out of the drive thru I looked for said signage, there was one, amongst about 20 Sonic and Dutch Bros signs. Not impressed with their signage or her attitude and will not return to this...

I never had this before when I move here from North Carolina but my wife suggested it. Let me tell you something what a surprise it was. The drinks are out of this universe. I love the way they mix energy drinks into a beverage that is out of this world. The staff are amazing and talented. Big shout out to whoever hire the managers and staff because they are very friendly and supportive and energetic on finding your own type of drink if you personally don’t know what to order they give ideas. No disappointment. Please swing by if you never heard of it or have. This place...
