Tacos Chalito 2 — Restaurant in Ellensburg

The food is great and really delicious. The only problem I have is with the price. I like to ordered the torta (which cost $7 as their menu says) and they charge me $8 for it. I don’t have a problem that it’s a dollar more expensive but sometimes I go back and they charge me seven dollars, sometimes eight and it goes back and forth. Also the only thing that bothers me is that sometimes they will tell customers, “Sorry for the wait, here we will give you the salsa for free.” From my experience, I have been going there since it’s open, the salsa has always been free. I've been going to the original Tacos Chalitos off main accross from the local car war for over 10 years and it was sad to see that location close but the newer tacos chalitos 2 is just a different location, same folks, same amazing food. God forbid I get another pint of there salsa verde......it is the most drinkable sauce I've ever craved. Also those damn super burritos, tortas, and street tacos.....kill me. By far this has been the best Mexican food I have eaten in my 15+ years of living in Washington. I had their lengua tacos and it was seriously a melt in your mouth experience. The foods definitely had the taste of homemade, fresh corn tortillas and all. Their salsas had a seriously good kick to them as well, more than your typical amount of heat as compared to many salsas that are made milder for the typical American palate with amazing flavor.
