Gard Estate Wines Ellensburg — Attraction in Ellensburg

Very nice place. I enjoy the ambience. Nice friendly people. Comfortable seating and attractive decor. Often local art which is a nice touch. Live music that's surprisingly good often danceable. But lighting is too bright around the dance floor area. You want to get people up and dancing (and believe me, this inspires the band, too!), -dim it down a bit please. This especially encourages the slow dancers who don't really want to be in the spotlight. Food items are tasty; not too expensive but not cheap. For the price, I'd like a bit fuller glass of wine. The wines are good, blends too....

We went on a little road trip and afterwards, needed a to pick up a few things. I stumbled across Gård and was happy to try the Ellensburg location. We've been to Royal City and Woodinville so this was the final one on my list. We did a tasting of the spring releases and I picked up my wine club allocation yesterday. Gard wines are not inexpensive, but they are so worth it!

My wife and I have been working on expanding our knowledge of Columbia Valley wines. There is a lot to choose from. I'm so glad we happened upon Gard Vintners. Sydney, you are the best, thanks for spoiling us!
