Great food great buffet, the service is a little slow and could be faster honestly.. I'm kept watching but honestly couldn't even identify the hold up.. it wasn't the older people trying to decide, nor the cashier or the large amounts of people moving throughout the line, honestly you were served as soon as you were in front of the pretty young girls but honestly I for all their time moving around they weren't really doing much... It was the older ladies changing out the empty things in buffet that I personally was waiting for and then they personally served me.... Although not as generously as the pretty young girls were doing.. It seemed like the young girls had a problem with moving out of place to do no more than chit chat with a friend but honestly I don't know if I was more upset about the speed of my service or the old lady who served me (a grown man) a child portion when the lady next to me had the amount of meatloaf which seemed reasonable.. either way I paid for extra meatloaf to have what the lady next to me had and then was full, but had to watch her get a to go box.. however the food was amazing, and I cleaned my plate easily...

I've eaten here 3x in the past week. The food both times for lunch was very good (pot roast once, chicken pie another time, and my guest had grilled fish, all the lunch sides were very good!

My breakfast experience today (and my last breakfast here a few weeks ago) weren't great. Scrambled eggs dry, sausage overcooked, hashbrown casserole just really doughy, grits were gluey.

I'll stick to lunches from now on. I would have added another * for food at lunchtime.

Went to eat with my daughter first time trying Double L. I thought this was a buffet style restaurant by seeing it online it is more of a cafeteria style when you get your food. The staff were super sweet. They had no mac & cheese on the line and my four year old will hardly eat anything.. she was making a catering order and went and grabbed her a small Mac & cheese. Literally saved my lunch! They have the best sweet tea. I got chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes & green beans. All of my food was great and the portion size was crazy I couldn't even finish my plate. Very down home service....
