McDonald's — Restaurant in Emmitsburg

So I want to start this off and say I’m somewhat of a McDonalds connoisseur. I happened upon the McDonalds here in Emmitsburg to have an early lunch. It is kind of out in the middle of nowhere so my expectations were not high. We were greeted with the upmost kindness at the drive thru window. She was super sweet and patient. The food came out very quick. What I saw next was something I haven’t seen in ten years. My fries were packed full. It almost brought a tear to my eye. What followed was divine. The fries were cooked to absolute perfection. The crisp was unmatched and the salt perfectly distributed amongst them. I thought surely my cheeseburgers couldn’t be on the same tier as the fries. Boy was I wrong. That cheeseburger has the softest bun I’ve ever felt. The cheese placed with pin point accuracy. The onion ratio perfect. The taste was the best McDonald’s cheeseburger I’ve ever had. The Coke tasted as if it came from the waters of lake Minnetonka. We also had a McChicken which was the same. I went to the Emmitsburg Maryland location, tried to place an order in the drive-thru, I got nothing but poor service and poorly made food. I was there before closing, lady tells me there closed, I said I tried to order in drive thru before 11p, but no one answered the intercom. I had to ask for the manager 2 times, before they would get the manager, on the 2nd request for the manager, the employee says "Sir, we need you to leave our drive through - we're closed". The manager finally comes to the window, I explained I was there before 11p to order, she said, "Oh we shut down the grills at 10 minutes before closing" but she offered to still cook my order. So I get my order and went to my hotel, it turns out they purposely added salt and pepper on the bottom side of the burgers, who knows what else they did to them. The food is totally uneatable! Don't go here for food, unless you want to have your food...

The person who took my order at the drive through was very friendly and pleasant and didn't rush me when I was trying to decide what I wanted. I think her name was Rony. However when I got to the second window I was met with the total opposite! This girl had an attitude and just seemed like a very miserable person! As I was waiting for her to get the fries she forgot to put in my bag I could hear her yelling at the other employees. She then shoved the bag in my hand and shut the window. She didn't even give me a chance to ask for the condiments I needed so I still ended up going inside. I got the names of the two girls rony and Candice and my condiments and went on my way.
