Broad Street's Dough delivers an unforgettable doughnut experience with their freshly made to order treats. Here's what makes them stand out:
The doughnuts are a testament to what fresh ingredients and beautiful presentation can achieve. Each bite reveals a perfect balance of a crispy exterior and a soft, fluffy interior. The doughnuts are made on the spot, ensuring they are always warm and fresh. When I picked up the box the donuts were warm.
One of the highlights of Broad Street’s Dough is the range of flavors and customization options. Whether you crave a classic glazed or adventurous flavors like Sea salt caramel, German chocolate, or Smores, there's something to satisfy every palate. Every doughnut is customizable which adds to the experience. I requested the entire doughnut be covered in glaze instead of only half and omitted the cherry on top for the German chocolate doughnut.
The fact that every doughnut is made fresh to order allows you to taste the difference, it’s a major cut above Krispy Kreme with the unique customization ability.
The staff are friendly and passionate about their craft. They are always willing to offer recommendations and ensure your doughnut is made exactly to your liking.
The donuts range from $2.75-$4.50 each. They are also on the smaller side compared to Sidecar donuts. I would recommend going here when you want to splurge on your friends and yourself.
My top 4 donuts: German chocolate (extra $1.75) Glazed Maple Cinnamon sugar (loved the crispy coat of the maple) Sea...
Read moreI’m a bit shocked that this doughnut shop has such high ratings. First, the building is beautiful, but there’s quite a bit of unused space behind the counter, which means rent is probably higher than it should be for a doughnut shop leading to excessively high product prices. Second, the menu is very confusing and pricing isn’t easily understood. Third, the product size is grossly overpriced for most doughnuts that are not bought off a grocery store shelf. Right after paying $20 for nine small glazed doughnuts we went to a local grocery store and bought two dozen prepackaged doughnuts of the same size for $5.50ish just to make a clear point in our mind that the business is taking people over the coals. In fact, our initial impression once we opened the box was “we’ve been duped”. The doughnuts were so small for almost being $3 a piece. They said they had mini doughnuts too, but I can only assume they are the size of a doughnut hole and those are over $1.50 a piece. Fourth, they are cake doughnuts, that look a bit like the could be raised doughnuts. Also, They taste better cold then warm because they are reminiscent of a pancake when warm. In fact, my daughter said, “these taste like pancakes”. I like doughnuts and have I tried very many different shops, but I am shocked...
Read moreThis place is probably the cutest donut shop ever! I didn’t know this place existed until this Yelp perk! It’s super close to work also!!
I came in to get my elite perk and also support the company while making the team happy with some donuts. When I walked in and told them my plan the owner asked if I was working at the hospital and I said yes, he responded with “I’ll match what you guys get.” I was so thrown back! We were here getting donuts to support their company and he turns out and gives back to us! That’s just beyond amazing!
Now let’s talk about these donuts!!! You can literally watch them put together these amazingly beautiful pieces of art! (Yes I would consider them art LOL) I didn’t feel like it was very long for them to make it either. We were getting a dozen plus one. Let me tell you that you can taste the difference! I am not a majorly big fan of donut but WOW! I was so surprised at how absolutely delicious these were! And they are a little smaller but I feel like it’s the right amount! Sometimes a donut can just be too big and waaaayyy to much for one person. Everyone who had a donut said they can taste the freshness from the donuts. We are definitely...
