I was in the store today with my 2 daughters and their 14 and 15 yo old sons. The boys are pretty typical teenage boys and extremely fun to be around. We are a close family who love to spend time together. The boys were not doing anything wrong but my daughters said the women in the store were complaining about them so the girls left the store to go next door where the atmosphere was much more friendly. In Fact, the girls told me the man working there was having fun talking and joking with them. I did not know they had left the store but I made my purchase and left to find them. If I had known how they were treated in Treelotta I would have never made a purchase. I myself did not like the attitude of the employees…not at all friendly. When Treelotta was in its first building I had loved going there but no more. You are not friendly and concerned about your customers. This is not the first time I have experienced this type of attitude from your employees. Several years ago I was looking for fabric for a quilt and the employee told me the fabric I wanted was not appropriate for my project. I bought it anyway and the quilt turned out amazing. Get over your attitudes and make shopping fun and enjoyable for...
Read moreShould be called Tricklotta. This company preys on inexperience to pull more and more money from unsuspecting customers. I signed up my granddaughter and myself for a class to make bags - $50 each! Then I realized no materials were included and we were expected to cut all of the fabric into exact pieces before coming to class. What? Was the “class” only to use their sewing machines? Tricklotta would not refund my money – store credit only. I stayed calm because they sell dozens of craft “kits” we could work on together at home. My granddaughter and I went to select some, only to find these expensive “kits ” were incomplete. Some had instructions without materials; some had materials but instructions were sold separately. We clearly told the saleswoman we wanted complete kits, but two of the three kits we brought home required patterns or materials we did not have. Please save your time and money by going to Michael’s where classes are free and materials cost...
Read moreJust visited while I had some time before a flight. Staff were so very friendly. I was helped by a very kind employee who found me several times and offered to bring my bolts and cut the fabric while I continued shopping. Another staff Tully? Telly? Helped me further and also gave recommendations for a wonderful lunch! A third staff helped complete my order and had on the best apron with a custom embroidery design on it! The fabric choices here are immense. I loved the Ruby Star Society offerings as well as Tim Holtz and many unique finds by Free spirit designers. Very beautiful selections and I even bought some cotton/canvas printed fabric to make bags. They have a great selection of zippers and bag making supplies and patterns. Would but online now that I've seen the fabrics in person. Thank you for making my short visit so fruitful and welcoming! And I love my wolf, bison, elk and bear fabric that I scored as it went...
