Our waitress was amazing. Sandra F. was enthusiastic, fun, helpful & as she stepped away from the table the first time I said she was great at customer service. If we were rating only on her, it would be a five star plus. She embodies everything that should be important to serving the customer. By the end of our experience, long wait times for food, tables not being waited on, our waitress could not get back to us in a timely fashion as she was spread entirely too thin. She did her best, under the circumstances of being short staffed. She tried to hide her emotion. I could tell her expectations on herself were not being met to serve her customers. With her 25 years in the service industry, she apologized and apologized. We know it was not her fault. Something in your system is broken. It needs to be addressed. People like Sandra deserve to be recognized and work in an environment that is supportive in the ultimate objective which is fantastic customer service. When it is executed correctly, you will have repeat customers time after time after time. For example, where we live. Our IHOP is terrible so we refuse to go to an IHOP anywhere. As a business owner, I know the same can carry over. The food was great, the waitress was great. Even the hostess was great & encouraged us to leave a review. I know sometimes these fall on deaf ears, but I do hope you will consider ways to improve from the back end to the front, having correct staffing and keeping employees like the one we had. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. However, I was disappointed with the chicken biscuits with gravy that I ordered. Read moreWent here yesterday with 3 kids on an advertised kids eat free after 4pm. No one knew how it worked but were told to wait till 4 for the deal so we left and came back. Waitress was cool but didn't bring requested items every time we requested. 1 drink 4pm to 5pm that were all empty by 415. We had 3 kids meals and 2 signature skillets, fries and drinks. Our bill was full and again asked waitress didn't know and asked manager on duty who stated 1 free kids meal with 1 entree. It was incorrect as my wife corrected me after waiting 10min to pay in line to fix the bill. Went to the manager on duty and was told to return tomorrow. Despite all that still had left a good tip. This is what I really want to deal with a 6$ refund on our vacation... I believe they knew the fine print my wife showed them. Won't be going back for the 6$ instead thinking we will be contacting corporate.
