Not sure why this place is so highly rated. I've been there three times, and every time I've left wondering if I would've been better off lighting a $10 bill on fire and eating a handful of sand. The jury is still out.
The first time I went I got the standard breakfast, eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, toast. The hash browns were so bad (fake potatoes, cooked poorly) that even ketchup couldn't save them. The sausage tasted weird, and the toast had so much butter on it I couldn't eat it. I figured, maybe the breakfast is just bad. I could still try a burger.
So the second time I went inside and stood at the counter, and despite it not being very busy, no one even acknowledged my presence in 5 minutes or so, so I left.
I swore it off forever after that, until tonight, when I decided to give it one more chance. Big mistake. I ordered a burger that, from the picture, had fried jalapenos and onions and cheese. The burger I got had cheese, and sauce, and a very, very thin burger, but nothing else. The burger, which was $6, was about half the size of a quarter pounder from McDonalds. The zucchini sticks I got as a side were bland and the ranch they came with didn't taste like anything.
Honestly I don't understand how this place is in business and I don't understand all the positive reviews. I would rather get better food across the street at McDonalds.
Yep, that's right. There is better food and better value across the street at McDonalds. Go...
Read moreI don't really give five stars ⭐ to what is now called ' fast casual,' but for this Farmer Boys location, they really keep the customers and the quality of food in mind. My wife and I stopped in to grab dinner because it had been awhile since we had eaten anything from a Farmer Boys due to a couple of not so good experiences ( not at this location!)... We finally made a decision on what we wanted and placed our order, I got the four piece fish and chips (fries) and my wife got the natural avocado 🥑 🍔. We sat down at a table because it usually takes time for the food to be made and suddenly a couple of employees apologized for the wait and it shouldn't be much longer. Now. What a lot of people aren't understanding these days is that most businesses are short handed and have been for awhile now, but the employees at this location are truly short handed and they still work through it with a smile and true professionalism!. You can go to other locations and find employees complaining out loud or even working at a snails pace, trust me when I tell you this because it has happened. From the young lady working the register, the young gentleman in the drive-thru and all the way to the gentleman preparing our food, has to be the coolest crew working hard during the current problems with a...
Read moreWhoever took my order, Scarlett it says on my receipt, was extremely rude. We ordered a Big Cheese only lettuce in the drive thru, she started listing off things. Okay she heard us wrong, fine, we said again big cheese, she said ok but what do you want there’s a lot of things with bacon and cheese. My passenger spoke up and said big cheese louder, because she didn’t hear us through the intercom. She got really rude acting like we yelled at her, if she couldn’t hear us and we told her twice why wouldn’t we speak louder. She spoke to us rudely while taking the rest of the order. I don’t know if it was the same girl when we pulled up but I asked the girl when I pulled up if the big cheese was only lettuce like I asked when I ordered and she said no. I asked if she could put only lettuce and she stared at us like we were such annoying burdens. Like what do you want from us you couldn’t hear us and get mad when we speak louder, didn’t put the order down right and get mad when I ask to make sure it’s right. The lemonade was watered down and the burger looked like the sauce was just wiped away....
