I ordered 3 sandwiches and waited more than 30 minutes for them to make the sandwiches. They forgot about us. Than while waiting I watched an employee cut his hand on the meat cutter and they didn’t even wipe it off and just continued to use it. When I told the manager he yelled at me! Like what? 😮 he told us their new so they are slow and deal with it. When we’re paying $60 for like 3 sandwiches I at least expect them to be kind and follow proper health code protocol. The manager gave me attitude and had the audacity to tell me that blood can’t make anyone sick and it’s fine. Than I asked for a refund and he refused as we have now waited 45 minutes and I didn’t want to eat there and we left the food and called the health department. I’d be very wary if you wanna go here.
**also while waiting a lady came in complaining that the food they had gotten 2 days ago made them get food poisoning and the manager said the store is brand new theirs no way to get food posioning. He said to her let me tell you how you get it and it works. So rudeee basically yelling at the lady. I am a restaurant manager and just cause a store is new does not mean that you can’t get food posioning. He refused to refund that lady and said we don’t do refunds here it’s not how it works. Read moreThe manager here is quite rude. I will not return. He chewed out not only his own employees and I mean he was yelling. But he also yells at customers instead of answer the questions calmly. The store caused me to get food poisoning and he yelled at me for letting him know and said theirs no way in hell a brand new store can cause food poisoning even tho the whole family got sick. I spent a lot of money here and to be berated and yelled at is unacceptable. I work long hours from home often into the night and miss normal hours for good food lol - he was very professional where other companies employees have answered the phone with profanity or like as if they were on crank Yankers or something even on a holiday one time when they were the only company open around! So great job to your team at this location, Jersey mikes. Angel made my day and a way better experience. I have never been back to the crank yanker answering place lol and I will for sure be coming back to this jersey mikes as this experience and all my experience with this company’s franchise has been very pleasant.
