10/16/23 - I was a regular but service and quality were so off today. Ordered online this morning around 8:50am and got there about 10 minutes later. The woman working said they didn't receive my order, but then was able to find my order after checking the confirmation number and suggested I call next time because the system does not notify them when they get an order. She could've had a better attitude about it, but it was during morning rush, so I get it, but still - customer service can go a long way. This hasn't happened before so I'm not sure if this was true about the system or not. Either way, very inconvenient especially when you have to be at work. Finally got my order after an additional wait, but my two madhouse clubs that were made poorly. This sandwich is normally amazing however it was just made with the least amount of the thinnest, soggiest bacon, the least amount of turkey, mainly tomatoes, and the thickest barely toasted bread. My coffee was made even worse. Ordered the blended peanut butter cup but there was literally no sweetness to it, and just tasted like straight unsweetened peanut butter and ice. Couldn't even finish half. Basically ran late to work to waste money on this order made with a lack of care or consistency. Probably won't be back. Read moreWe have been going to Madhouse coffee on Eastern for about a year now. After getting stale pastries and watered down coffee from the manager who works on Saturdays, I was concerned when two of their best employees left.
When I called the store to find out when the owner was going to be at the Eastern location, I was unaware that the manager’s relative put my call on speaker phone so the manager could hear my comments without my permission.
The next day, the manager confronted me in front of 10 customers and asked if I was the one who left a message to speak to the owner. I was not prepared for the conversation and nor did I want to voice my concerns to someone who was looking for a fight and in a crowded coffee shop.
If you don’t care how hard you work for your money, then you can continue buying your coffee fix from them. But if you want to be respected for your business, then find another place to purchase your fix. This place does not care about customers since the manager was being confrontational with me in front of customers and lied about the product being fresh. She can't even make a good cup of coffee. Customers shouldn’t be expected to defend themselves if they have a problem with product they are paying for.

Read moreif i could do 0 stars i would because i will never be back. the menu is false advertising they include major ingredients in their food that are left out on the menu for example i ordered a burger and it had ketchup on it however the menu says it only has an aioli. when i received my food and bit into it the flavor was horrible i couldn’t enjoy it at all and paid extra to add yucca fries . the fries were so freezer burnt not even ketchup would make them taste better. When i asked the manager for a refund he refused and kept trying to get me to come back. If the food taste freezer burnt im not taking another chance therefore i would’ve preferred a refund and he told me to call my bank and dispute it after telling me he would call back and never did i had to reach out to him for him to ultimately tell me to dispute the charge or come back for a remake so maybe his business is hurting because the food isn’t fresh , his attitude sucks , the OWNER is UNPROFESSIONAL, and they cant afford to refund a disgusting old meal that i wouldn’t even...
