IHOP — Restaurant in Nevada

I have to say, this place is just splendid and surely a really good try if you're visiting Vegas for the first time. No, it's not just pancakes here or what I'm going to talk about. There's a lot of choices! Personally, I love their country fried steak. The gravy tastes amazing, the meat is tender and tasty, and the sides are just fine. The broccoli is slightly dry but that's the way I enjoy it. If you don't like it, don't get it. The French fries do taste delicious as well. They're a perfect size and have perfect taste. Nothing too fancy. Just the way I like it. The mashed potatoes taste like Heaven, just like what they have in Iowa. (I'm from there.) Although the food is good, my only complaint is the way tables are set up. If you get one by the kitchen, it's too close to one another in which it feels like our conversation and seating is going into theirs. That's a slight bother. Not too much to say about that, though. This would be a 4.6 if I could rate it. The waiters and waitresses are friendly. If that's what you're into, well most people want that. They are patient and courteous. Ordered through this store through door dash. And let me tell you I am far from impressed. I ordered 2 funny face kids pancake orders, they didn't come with any whipped topping. That's fine but it gets worse... Next I ordered a create your own French toast combo with strawberry banana French toast I DIDNT EVEN GET THE STRAWBERRIES OR BANANAS just plain ass French toast. And our last order was a split decision breakfast with new York cheesecake pancakes and it just came with basic plain pancakes. Door dash only helped with returning a fraction of what we paid for this meal. And when I tried calling the store they refused to answer and when they finally did they picked up the phone and then hung up without saying anything. If I could give negative stars then I would very unhappy mama with kids crying about a ruined breakfast.

Couple years later we attempted this place again: Service was great, food seemed to be up to everyone's standards however why do you advertise as gluten friendly when you don't actually offer gluten free? Two of our party were unable to eat because of this unfortunate menu to service mishap. Still not impressed with...

Unfair to Seniors and Children!

I am a regular at IHOP restaurant at 2450 E Pebble Rd in Henderson. I found out, when I patronized a different IHOP, that the chain offers discounts for AAA as well as AARP. I used my AAA discount at the different IHOP and I received 10% off my bill. I know 10% is not a lot, but it makes me as a customer feel appreciated.

When I asked for the AAA discount at the 2450 E Pebble Rd IHOP, I was not given the discount on my entire meal. I was told that the discount did not apply to senior (55+) meals or children's meals. When I shared that I'd received the discount for these meals at another IHOP, I was told that the policy at this store was not to apply the AAA discount to seniors or children (meals). I feel this is unfair and discriminatory against seniors and children. I told the manager that not giving the 10% discount was causing them to lose a customer, but that did not seem to be important.

It's a shame that advantages and discounts are not applied equally. It seems that receiving available discounts depends on who or what you know, and that is a shame. I will not patronize this...
