Went here yesterday afternoon, bad experience. Ordered at the kiosk but couldn't pay bc it was down, it said to take the printed receipt to the counter but it also didn't print... There was no line, just me, someone waiting to get attention for their wing order, someone waiting for food. Still stood there a long time waiting for the staff to notice me there. It didn't seem like they were busy enough for it to take so long, but wait times happen and there could be more going on than I can see. Gave two stars instead of one bc the guy who did eventually help me was polite/efficient/professional at pulling up my order from the kiosk and taking payment. It got worse, though.
My mom was with me, she went up to the counter when they got part of our order wrong (forgot the happy meal drink) and it took her forever to get noticed again. Then, foolishly, I decided I wanted an Oreo shake before we left, mom went to get it. After a super long wait a manager (we assume, they were in a purpley shirt different from the rest of the crew) gestured at a crew member, who said 'Wut??'. The manager gestured to my mom waiting and the crew member again said 'WUT??' in the rudest possible way, while giving her the DIRTIEST look, like 'how dare you interrupt me chatting with my coworkers??'
Like, what do you mean what? It's a customer in line, you know the drill.
The manager saw it and did nothing, so we just left. No reason to go Karen over it. Mom was VERY angry about it, though. I know everyone is understaffed and work sucks, but come on. We can still be decent to people. And seeing that management doesn't hold anyone accountable...
Read moreSince it's the closest McDonald's near me , l frequent this one. Although I just learned , they don't serve breakfast all day , like some locations do. The few mornings I did come in for breakfast , it was complete chaos lol. The receipt machine malfunctioned , therefore nobody had a number lol , new hire at the register ( welcome to the Real World 🫡) , people were fussing about how they ordered online and their food wasn't ready for pickup lol , oh and then it was " cash only " at the register lol , which they only tell you after you waited 20min to order and you attempt to pay 😳.....the guy in front of me ordered and then realized ,cash only lol ....I told him , I got you ....didn't make sense to me , I'm grateful to be able to help another , so that's what I WAS RAISED TO DO , PERIOD ! ...made our order , got our food , nice and hot and 🫶🏾.
MUCH LOVE AND RESPECT : I believe in giving credit , when is credit is due . The Crew that was working that morning , they ALL deserve pay compensation ! They really worked their butts off and I didn't see one person complaining , lacking or "not working" per se. Good to see that ! Very rare nowadays . Bless...
Read moreYOU MAY GET LOCKED INSIDE
This location locks its lobby doors between 2pm and 4pm to deter kids from the local school from loitering. It is completely fine and legal to refuse service to anyone. It is beyond ridiculous TO LOCK IN YOUR CUSTOMERS.
I was let in after trying one door, walking to other, then returning to original door when an employee whistled me over. I placed more order, ate it inside, food was fine. However the door was locked from the inside. Two different groups were standing at door trying to get out. No one in site. I got up from my table and unlocked the sliding door so that we could all exit.
It is against fire code to lock customers inside a business. It is against OSHA rules to lock a sliding glass door that is used for egress. It's also just bad practice to trap in your paying customers barricading others outside.
If the door did not unlock I would have gladly kicked it down to make this a news story to remember the issue
YOU CANT LOCK PEOPLE INSIDE AND PREVENT THEM...
