So this is hard to write as this is the first time I've ever had a bad experience having Hibachi and sushi. Hostess was nice, waitress was nice, Daniel the Hibachi chef had no..... Hibachi etiquette is the best way I can say it. The young girl who was part of the family we were dining with wanted to see the Hibachi show, kind of why you pay the premium price right, well we had a massive messed up looking smiley face. Followed by the start of no show occuring.
The eggs got cracked at start of show and on a grill that was immensely too hot. No Sake, no entertainment, eggs were so burnt it was easily comparable to jerky, vegetables were burnt and doused in Garlic sauce (like a whole lot) this was a first, filet mignon was burnt and doused in a lot of butter, rice was dry with no seasoning, shrimp was burnt and beyond rubbery, cabbage was added late and burnt and beyond stringy, onions still had the skin on cooked with and burnt and not edible.
I have never not finished a meal I've gotten at any Hibachi I've been to across the US and in other countries this was a first half my meal was thrown out. We were told that Daniel doesn't follow recipes but will make it better and much more delicious. This was not the case, seriously half the bottle of garlic "Dipping" sauce ended up on the vegetables. Don't know if I will be coming back after this one the best portion was the sushi 3-4* the Hibachi if able would have been 0* but I could give it 1*

Read moreCame into the restaurant on a Friday night (expected it to be busy) and the waitress’ were literally running around taking orders and helping guests. As I stood in front of the waitress at the register she continued to ring out guests and not acknowledge me and wife. Another guest walked in about 2 minutes later and were greeted by the waitress almost immediately, I spoke up and said “I need a table” and only then was I acknowledged and sat down. Wife and I sat there waited for I’d say 7 minutes for the waitress to take our drink order (1 coke and water). Didn’t receive our drinks until about 12 minutes later. Waitress was literally (I’m not joking) about to run away until I said “ma’am wait” we’re ready to order. She took our order (2 sushi rolls and chicken steak hibachi rice). We waited for about 20 minutes almost 30. Didn’t get a refill of water or our food yet, but I looked around the restaurant and noticed the couple that came in behind us had their beverages and food already delivered to their table. I made eye contact with the waitress and she quickly turned away. About another 10 minutes go by and she approaches my wife and I and says she lost our ticket and we’ll need to order again. We asked for our check for our coke and paid 6 dollars for it (bit steep for a coke) and left. Don’t think I’ll be going back...
Read moreThe food and sushi was ok flavor, but the service and atmosphere was lacking. It was just my daughter and I. We were asked if we wanted a refill, and we both wanted to have coke instead of iced tea. We have always been able to switch from soda to tea at restaurants with no extra charge—it’s the same price! The waitress said “ok”, and got us our cokes. Then when the bill came, I had $7.50 charge TWO times for drinks, which I asked the wait staff about, which I think asked the manager or owner and he said “they switched what they had so it’s another charge.” In most dining establishments if they are going to charge you again for something, they ask you if you would still like to do that. No one came to us and asked us if we were ok with the second drink charge of $7.50, for our refill. So we ended up paying $15 for 2 drinks. The only people that communicated in English were teenagers that continued to yell across the restaurant at each other (not their fault, it’s a lack of training from ownership/management). The teenagers were very apologetic about the drink situation and recognized how bizarre it was but of course they have no control over the greedy owner or manager. For the prices this place is charging, they will need to improve their service level if they want to continue having...
