A bunch of issues here… First - food was good, small portions, but very good - gifted chef! Beer served at great temp. But then it went downhill… the menu online (web and Google) is out of date. Don’t get your heart set on Fish and Chips or Redfish or… Prices in the restaurant are higher than what’s online too. It was happy hour according to FB and our waitperson. $2 off per draft. But no one told the waitperson that the hours had changed, so we’re out $8. (Made a special effort arrive in time for happy hour and order a second beer each before the close at 7pm.) Then none of the desserts we wanted were available. It happens. When we got back to our hotel - we discovered the single local beer we paid $7.50 for was $8 for a six pack. So, yes, first world problems, but it was a long day of driving and we discovered lots of gotchas (including the discount we didn’t see for cash…) We won’t return. Going to try The Craft Bar and Grill next time. Check out their Facebook, seems to be updated with current prices and specials.

I scored dinner on my first delivery and lunch on their first day serving it. The lunch menu is fairly simple compared to the dinner menu. with sandwiches (including burgers), wraps, salads, fish-and-chips, etc. For lunch, I got the Justa Burger (added cheddar cheese and bacon) and seasoned crinkle cut fries. Amazingly good! I also tried the Buffalo Chicken Dip with the mini toasted bread slices. It was good too, but to be honest, I'd love this as a sandwich. For my dinner choice (the day before), they didn't have a regular burger on the menu (they do now), so I scored the Regular Joe Burger Sliders with seasoned crinkle cut fries. Again, just a really good pair of sliders and the fries were done to perfection. I do want to try other things. Since the majority of the menu is dinner, it may be a bit before I try it. However, I am very happy with the food so far.

Restaurant was clean and the staff friendly. Kind of a dark sports bar feel with lots of TVs and dim lighting. We had the Apache Burger and the shrimp and grits. The shrimp and grits came out tepid—room temp. We sent it back and it took a long time to get it warmed/remade. I was completely done before my daughter got her food. Overall the burger was good, the shrimp and grits (even the second one) was mediocre at best. Finished off dinner with a slice of strawberry cheese cake which was very good. -This was our second experience here. The first one was a total disaster—on that outing the manager comped the whole meal it was so bad. We waited 9 months to go back. This experience didn’t help. It took a long time to get our initial order and it wasn’t busy at all. It’s fair but not cheap—the kitchen staff/food quality doesn’t seem to match the price.

Unfortunately I cannot rate the food, after waiting over an hour I never got any. Based on the reviews I had high hopes for my experience. When I arrived at the restaurant, only half the tables were seated so I was not expecting any issues. Unfortunately, I was mistaken. It took almost 10 minutes from the time I was seated until a server took my drink order and then the response was they were out of that particular beer. I started to feel better when the server came back shortly after to let me know they were mistaken and they had been restocked. It still took another 5 minutes to bring me a beer after that. I immediately ordered when they finally brought me the first beer. I set patiently and drank the first beer, reordered a second and continued to wait. After I finished the second beer, the waiter came and asked if I would like a third, I ordered but also asked when my food would be out as this was close to the 45 minute mark. The waiter said he would check but never came back. The hostess did stop by shortly after to share she had overheard my meal should be ready in about 3 minutes. 20 minutes later, after finishing my third beer I finally had enough and requested my check for the three beers. The waiter made sure to let me know they had graciously taken the food off my bill and were only charging me for the beers I had drank. Not sure what the issue was tonight, but I cannot recommend this restaurant based off...

No business being in business. From the first step in the White Oak it was apparent their operations were lacking. Their hostess was uninformed on wait times and their service was cordial yet very inefficient. We ordered our appetizer, drinks and food all at once after recognizing others also waiting for food with the hope it would speed up the process. After about 30 minutes the drink and pretzels appetizer came out. Pretzels were well overpriced considering that they tasted like they were from a box. After over an hour since ordering our meal it still was not ready. When I asked the waitress for an estimated time, she responded in an unprofessional manner. We asked for a check and paid for a drink and appetizer after waiting for just over 1.5 hours for our orders, which never arrived. It seemed to be a consistent theme that others were also waiting extremely long for food as we overheard other conversations also describing their dwindling patience. What they lack in efficiency is made up for by location. It was less than a 5 minute drive to get a different meal after we left. (Chick-Fil-A is just down the road and open...

Husband and I went for the first time last week. We sat at the bar. He tried a few different beer on tap and ordered the tuna and I ordered shrimp then we picked artichoke dip for appetizer. The bartender was great. Super friendly but was slammed. He definitely needed some more help back there. We placed our order and 10 minutes later told they didn't have the dip so we said don't worry about it. The food came out and my husband said his was fantastic. In fact, one of his new favorites around here. Unfortunately for me, the fried shrimp was nothing worth writing home about. Being from the gulf coast its hard to eat seafood anywhere else but it sounded good so I decided to try it. It wasn't horrible but I've had better. I will definitely go back and try something different. I do wish they had a better burger menu or option. For a bar I wouldn't want a gourmet bison burger with my drinks. But that's just me. I did notice a lot of their menu items have pineapple or mango. Not a fan of all the sweet additions on food but like I said thats a personal preference and I can request it to be left off....
