This is an older convenience store building that has been through several types of businesses over the years. It’s plain and simple inside, but clean. Friendly staff. Ordered the beef and fried rice. It was a HUGE helping!! I ate until I was full, and took home enough for two more good size meals. They gave me either a 10% senior or a military discount when I asked, basically covers the 9+% tax. Bigger variety of food than I thought it would be considering the name. Burgers to chicken to shrimp to various fish to Chinese food. Price is medium in that it is higher than chain fast foods and lower than home-cooked food restaurants. Price seems actually cheap because I can probably get three meals for less than $10. Drink was $1.99, which is also mid priced. Hard to gauge the other prices because with inflation, all prices are going up so fast that it’s hard to keep up with them. The quickie $5.00 meals from a couple of years ago or seven or eight dollars now, and the $12 full home-cooked meal with dessert is now around $19. Just glancing at the menu, they seem pretty consistent as far as being in the middle. They have some interesting eggrolls on the menu that I’m going to try next time. Then probably one of the burgers. Not a big wings fan personally, so probably...
Read moreA hybrid Chinese-American joint didn't strike my fancy at first as I figured they might not do either that well. Boy, have I been wrong so far. My first meal was chicken tenders and fries. The fries were done to perfection and you get a TON of them. The chicken tenders were fine, but a bit dry. I don't think I'll get them again.
The beef fried rice (no peas, no carrots, extra eggs) tasted amazing. And here too, you get a TON of food. I can eat a lot, and I could only do half. (They reheat quite well.) So now I have a place to hit my fried rice cravings. I'll try some of the other Chinese and American foods down the road.
Update: Philly cheesesteak is pretty good. The cheeseburger is quite good. The catfish is mostly amazing. The whitefish is pretty good. And the lo mein was great.
I've gone here a ton since my original review. Like all places, there are days when maybe the fries aren't as fresh as they could be. Or the catfish was a bit salty. But so far, these rare "bad" days don't even make me consider...

Always be suspicious when you have burgers, lo mein, wings, and rib tips on the menu, that means you can't do one thing well.
Dive, only got a boba, meh. Will try to rate later.
OK, I gave it another shot. People be trippin' by giving anything greater than 3 stars, maybe it's the MSG talking, I mean, I ate an entire clamshell (oh yes, nothing says style like a Styrofoam container) and I was still hungry. I was joined at the table by about 10 flies and some shady peeps talking behind me.
Beef Lo mein: sodium bomb, not bad, but when garnished with a curly hair, i was done.
Philly Cheese eggroll: just tasted fried, barely any philly.
Coconut boba: what a joke, tasted like coconut milk with a cup of sugar, yummm.
Look, if you like McDonald's, you'll probably love this place, not for me though. Go across the street to get Mexican, or mellow, or bbq at Shane's, just don't eat...
