3/21/2025 This was my first visit to this location. My wife and I recently moved from Florida to Ozark, Alabama. My wife and I recently retired and love going around visiting restaurants and reviewing them. Today, we visited the Mellow Mushroom in Enterprise, AL. I have visited one in Florida and, frankly, was not that impressed. However, the food and service were great at this location. I had the BYOB with tots, and so did my wife. This is a smashed burger with bacon on a brioche grilled bun. Oh yeah, it's yummy! Service was so good I couldn't drink my sweet tea as fast as she could refill it. We also had an appetizer of fried pretzel and beer cheese dip. The pretzels were soft and warm in garlic butter sauce. So good. My work motto was "You never get a second chance to make a first impression." Well, they made a great first impression with the quality of the food cooked to order and service. I have to recommend them based on this visit. Go by and visit and tell them Dave sent you, God bless! Update: 7/2/25 Another great lunch with Mellow Mushroom. My wife and I ordered the smashed burger with tater tots made to order. Mmmm good đ Update: 9/2/2025 Visited again with my 89 year young dad. He is in a nursing home and had asked me to take him out because he wanted pizza. I thought for a moment and remember this place has pizza although I had never tried it because of their great hamburgers. So we were pleasantly greeted and seated. Our server was over and took our order. We ordered the house pizza and when it came out we both just sat there looking at the beauty and fresh toppings on it. The smell was hypnotizing at best. We took a slice and began eating and moaning how good it was. Of course we could only finish half of it, but it came home with me for sure. Our server was very attentive, offering paper cup for our drinks and a box for leftover pizza. I have to say, I am extremely impressed with the service and quality of the food and presentation throughout my three visits. This place is worth the short drive from Ozark, AL to come and eat. Thank you...
Read moreWe didnât have the best experience tonight.. It took 10 minutes for the waitress to bring waters to our (super wobbly) table. I had to ask for a cocktail menu. Our appetizer was sent to the wrong table, so when our server let us know my boyfriend asked her to make sure our entree didnât come out on top of the appetizer and weâd be happy. She said no problem! So we get the app and take two bites and she shows up with our pizza. We were visibly annoyed so she said she would go speak with her manager, then comes back and says the manager took it off our bill and was sorry.. I asked her if the manager was going to speak to us and she looked surprised I asked. While sheâs going to tell the manager we actually want to speak to him, a host knocks our table with a high chair and makes everything shake- like weâre holding onto our drinks. She barely acknowledges/apologizes. Manager comes over and tells me he âwants to touch our tableâ and make sure the server let us know they had taken the garlic bread off our ticket. I explained I was appreciative of that but was still disappointed that I either couldnât finish my garlic bread or would have to eat a cold/dead pizza. He said he understood. I explained that dining in a restaurant is an experience and shared ours with him. He look surprised about the little details I mentioned: wobbly table, our table being hit, the food timing issues, etc. He never offered to take the pizza and remake it for us, which wouldâve allowed us time to enjoy our appetizer, which is what we asked for from the get go.. Instead, he brought us a $20 gift card to entice us to come back. I appreciate the gesture, but I wish he wouldâve made the situation better in the moment rather than trying to start over...
Read moreIf I could have given no stars I wouldâve. Sooooo disappointing I cried. My niece brought me from Dothan to Enterprise, bc it was my birthday and I told her it was my favorite place. WAITED AN HOUR AND A HALF, NO ONE EVER CAME TO TABLE, I finally went to ask and they said one pizza was messed up but they never brought either. So finally, as I watched my nieceâs family finish eating, they brought my pizza and acted like it was a big deal that they werenât going to charge for it, btw that pizza I took âto goâ, was inedible and covered in red sauce, which I ask to leave off, so giving away a pizza was nothing compared to a ruined bday dinner, 45 minute drive each way, and having to watch...while I never got anything to eat! IF I HAD MY OWN CAR THERE, I WOULDVE STAYED TO TALK TO THE IDIOTS THAT REMADE THE GARBAGE TWICE. They are too busy to read the instructions or care. And the excessive expense wouldâve paid for the nicest steak dinner. The only time we ever saw our waitress was when we raised our hand to ask for refills. If it could happen to me it could happen to you. DONâT GO! Guess Iâll go to McDonalds when I get...
