Panera Bread — Restaurant in Enterprise

Had an unpleasant experience today. I was asking about a sandwich and asked about the bread (because I don’t like the thick bread) and I was told that the sandwich I asked about came with panini bread (perfect) so that’s what I then said I wanted. I get my food and ask for some extra orange sauce on the side and instead I was given mayonnaise. When I mentioned that it was not was I was asking for i was told that it was what was on my sandwich, although I asked for the orange sauce. The girl said well it’s a BLT . I then ask is there more than one BLT on the menu and she doesn’t answer but closes the window in my face. I just brush it off. They finally bring me some orange sauce and I drive away. As I’m driving I check my bag only to see that I was given the wrong sandwich. So I go back and go inside and tell the young lady that I was given the wrong sandwich and I told her I was supposed to have panini bread (thin bread) she then says “Well isn’t this the sandwich you told her?” Obviously not if I turned around and came back I thought to myself. She takes the sandwich and walks to the back and instead of just correcting the issue they huddled up and just talked about it. Then after so long FINALLY remade it…. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! when they FINALLY start to remake it the manager walked by and asked if I was being helped (at least she was kind). I haven't been to Panera in several years. My wife and I were looking for something different for a modest meal out, and we decided to try Panera's again. The staff were very friendly, the place was clean, comfortable, and not empty nor crowded on a Friday night. I had no idea what to order, I have never been often, but there were two new specials on the menu. A chicken and pepperoni mozzarella melt sandwich, and an Autumn squash soup. I've never had either, and never had squash soup of any kind in my life. It was absolutely fantastic. I could not stop raving about it to my wife. It was yummy in the way candied yams are, a thick soup, sweet and tasty. The sandwich was huge. I'm a big eater, but I still ended up with two meals out of that one sandwich. And the bread was fantastic, a perfect toasted banquette. I'll definitely be back soon, if I can get food that tasty and reasonable prices, and quick service. What's...

Order taker was rude. I proceeded with ordering & he interrupted me to say that he has to see if they have more bread bowls left. I said okay. He said go ahead with your order. I said, "do y'all have bread bowls left?" He then caught an attitude & said "no, after that, what else?" As if I'm slow. I was like, "I don't want to order if there are no bread bowls so I'm asking," since HE brought it to my attention. He then proceeded to cut me off and quickly say they had them. Then a lady had to complete my order because, I'm assuming, he couldn't handle his position. I go to the window. No greeting, just my total. Put ice in my tea when I clearly asked for no ice. Drove off. They put the wrong bread on my sandwich and gave me HALF a serving of soup. I eat here often and I know the proportion amounts. Don't bother calling because they don't answer the phone.
