I wanted to write this review to hopefully help make the business better as it has potential. I also waited to have an overall experience being this was my 3rd visit this is when I decided to review the restaurant. The decor is executed beautifully being an off the strip location and it is only within miles from my home, the greeting is always welcoming and warm. My first visit I was sat on the right side of restaurant when you enter it was window seating and I had a great experience with the server and food was delicious that’s what made me want to come back. I noticed though when I was sat the second time and my third visit was on the left side of the restaurant which is the bar side and that’s when I noticed the difference in service, being sat next to the bathroom the booth by the bar. I write this review looking through eyes with years and years of experience in the service industry as I work on the strip I know this is a tough career but it can be financially rewarding. I always dine out at local spots especially neighborhood restaurants that our city has to offer which I love to support. I was impressed with this restaurant but it seems that more training needs to be done with front of the house from initial greet, taking orders pre bussing etc.. my experience with the service here is there is no sense of urgency and multi tasking being able to have multiple tables and coordinate guests needs anticipating the next step. The 3x I visited, I was never asked from the server but I always ordered wine from my visits here because they have a broad selection of wine, it’s always great the guests order wine because it helps with the servers daily sales more sales more tips. I know it is difficult to know and learn about wine but as a server not knowing the basics of white or red wine it’s not good service also it doesn’t match the decor or ambience of the restaurant, the owners spent money investing in the decor but they need to invest also in the service side you can’t rely just on looks and food if you can’t execute service as well, In addition assuring the wine or any drinks cocktails ice t, sodas are there before the food. When we as guests can see and watch the servers stand and talk while we wait for items because maybe they forgot what we ordered or another server doesn’t want to help because it isn’t their section it’s not a good look. It wasn’t just my guest and I it’s others in the restaurant I noticed looking left and right for their server there’s just no sense of urgency and as I read other reviews it seems service is slow but one thing that was quick was the check it was almost immediate.. so this review is a suggestion from a local supporter of local businesses, is the food good? Yes, is the restaurant beautiful? Yes, but this is a review to help make it better to the servers working at this restaurant always remember how you would like your service to be when you go out to dine and spend money on your friends or loved ones? Always strive to be better every table you encounter is a way to work on your skills on service, pick one cocktail or one wine a day to work on and anticipate guests needs challenge yourself to know more about the product your selling also management most definitely can be more involved in this day to day so you all can be the server and the restaurant as a whole can be the best that we as guests deserve when we choose to come to your...
Read moreWeera Thai is a stunning Thai restaurant on Rainbow Blvd in Las Vegas. From the moment you step inside, you are transported to the heart of Thailand, where every detail is meticulously crafted to create an enchanting atmosphere. The interior decor is intricately designed, featuring traditional elements of Thailand, such as ornate wooden carvings, silk fabrics, and dimly lit lanterns that bathe the space in a soft, warm glow.
The spacious dining area is elegant and comfortable, offering a perfect setting for a memorable meal. Weera Thai's menu is packed with an extensive array of dishes that cater to a wide range of palates and preferences. The diverse selection includes fiery curries, aromatic soups, succulent stir-fries, and fragrant rice dishes that capture the unmistakable flavors of Southeast Asia.
During my visit, I had the pleasure of trying two dishes that left me delighted. The first dish, Chicken Satay, is a classic Thai appetizer elevated to new heights at Weera Thai. The chicken skewers were perfectly grilled, achieving a smoky char on the outside while retaining their juicy tenderness within. The meat had been marinated in a delectable blend of Thai spices, including lemongrass, turmeric, and coconut milk, imbued with an aromatic and slightly sweet flavor profile. The satay was served with velvety peanut sauce, adding a delightful richness and nuttiness to the dish. A tangy cucumber salad contrasted the savory chicken with a refreshing and crisp contrast. The Chicken Satay at Weera Thai was a true embodiment of balance and finesse in Thai cuisine, delivering an unforgettable taste.
The second dish I tried was the Crab Meat Fried Rice, a staple of Thai cuisine. The dish arrived at the table in a visually stunning presentation, with vibrant colors that immediately caught my attention. The dish featured delicate grains of fragrant jasmine rice generously studded with succulent lump crab meat. The sweet and briny flavor of the crab perfectly complemented the aromatic rice, creating a heavenly combination. The dish was blended with harmonious ingredients, including egg, chili, and basil leaves, creating a symphony of flavors that danced on the palate. A subtle touch of Thai seasoning and the unmistakable fragrance of wok frying added depth to each bite. The Crab Meat Fried Rice was an indulgent delight, offering an alluring combination of flavors and textures that left a lasting impression.
I had an exceptional experience at Weera Thai with their impeccable service. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and attentive, ensuring that my water glass was always full and was even refilled to perfection after I finished my drink. The check was presented promptly, accompanied by dessert options to take home. The service was genuinely five-star and even outshined that of a butler.

Read moreFirst off, whoever was the interior designer deserves a raise! This place is beautiful inside and perfect for date night. My bf has travelled throughout Thailand and loves Thai food! He has tried many Thai restaurants throughout Vegas and says that this one is up there as far as food variety and flavor. We also appreciate that they include dishes from both northern and southern Thailand.
I told the waiter I was vegetarian, as it specifies on the menu to do so (the menu indicates to specify food allergies or if you're vegetarian). I ordered the fried tofu appetizer, sweet and sour tofu with brown rice entree, the mango salad entree, and a Lychee mocktail. The mango salad came with fish sauce in it even though fish sauce was not specified on the menu and I told the waiter I'm vegetarian. He insisted there was just a very little bit of fish sauce in it when I asked about it, which doesn't make it any less not suitable for vegetarians. I had to give the dish to my boyfriend.
The only other issue we had was that this restaurant pushes their alcoholic beverages on you. Before I arrived at the restaurant, my boyfriend got our table and said that 2 different staff members showed him the same drink menu. Neither of us drink so when I arrived I ordered a mocktail. During the meal, a gentleman unexpectedly came out with a tray of Moscow mule samples and insisted my bf take one. My boyfriend took a sip at his insistence and thanked him, and told him it was very good to be polite, but he's not interested in ordering a drink tonight. I declined a drink despite the insistence of that server. At the end of dinner my boyfriend paid our bill, left a nice tip (over 20 percent) and went to the restroom because he hadn't been feeling well. While he was in the restroom, our waiter collected the tip, and asked why we hadn't ordered drinks. I told him we had ordered non-alcoholic drinks and were good. He pointed to the alcoholic drink menu and asked whether I didn't like their alcoholic drink selection, and asked again why we hadn't ordered drinks... I was very thrown off, so I hesitated and he asked again for the 3rd time in a row. I explained that we don't drink alcohol (I was taken aback because that is really no one's business). So 1 star off for the fish sauce when I told the waiter I'm vegetarian/fish sauce wasn't an ingredient listed on the menu, and being extremely pushy about ordering alcohol to the point it felt uncomfortable.
We'll give this place one more try because we love the food and ambiance but won't be returning if they don't respect and honor my dietary...
