I am so disappointed that this location runs so poorly. I was thrilled to get a Wendy's on our side of town....they are generally my favorite fast food location for the quality of food you get in a timely manner. But unfortunately this location falls short in both quality and speed. It clearly starts with the management of the location, as business hours begin at 6:30am, and I have arrived at this location several times after 7:00am and the employees are standing outside waiting for the manager to arrive and open for business. If you arrive at open of business, you can definitely expect to wait 15-20min for any order you place, which I have become accustomed to for my daily breakfast stops (3-5 times a week....yes I have a problem...lol) But today reached a point of sheer frustration as I watched each vehicle in front of me be asked to pull to the front and wait for their food (3 cars in front of me) and I was asked to do the same. After waiting for 20min, and no one coming out to the other vehicles who had ordered ahead of me, I exited my vehicle to enter the business and find out the status. Mind you, this was after 8:30am, close to 9:00am after the wait, so the business should have been open for over 2hrs at this point and not been operating in a manner that mirrored just having turned on the equipment to start the day. And they had no lack of staff as I counted 5 employees working as I entered the business. I was informed my order wasn't ready (3 biscuits and gravy....which consists literally of 3 individual biscuits topped with packaged gravy mix) and I asked for a refund as I didn't have time to continue waiting. The person in the black shirt stated they didn't have the ability to perform a refund, and then one of the other employees spoke up and said "I have your order coming now." as he placed them in a bag and handed them to the black shirted employee. I again asked for a refund refusing the food and was told they couldn't do a refund. I asked regarding the managers name and was told by the person in the black shirt that the manager was "Esperanza". Upon being told, another customer in line who had been waiting just as long, asked to speak to the manager and the person in the black shirt stated they were "Esperanza". But then refused to speak to either of us to resolve the poor service (the other customer still didn't have his food after the interaction speaking to "Esperanza"). "Esperanza" stated "Mike" was the district manager, but refused to provide a last name or contact information for "Mike". I exited the location and proceeded to my job as to not be late after this lengthy delay (25min at this point for "fast" food). Upon arrival and removing my food from the bag, I found biscuits stacked on each other and barely covered in gravy (see pic). Highly disappointed in the service received and will not return to this location. In the future I will make an extra15-20min out of my way and go to the location on Charleston by 15N on my way to my job and hope they can have more pride and better customer service than the manager "Esperanza" that operates this location in the morning. Highly disappointed in my experience and I feel bad for the other employees that appeared to be truly working hard to do their jobs and take up the slack for the managers...
Read moreThis is a new restaurant and it already has problems. The cashier had no customer service skills whatsoever. He was just like, "yeah, aha" did not have a clue of what he was doing. Just took our order then gave us our receipt and on you go, no greeting when we can in not even a thank you as we finished our order. No manners at all. We also waited and waited for our food that was just sitting there on the counter waiting for him to give to us. He finally gave it to us when I asked him for it. I told him that my food was probably cold already since it had been sitting in the counter for a while, thats I was going to try it and if it was cold I was going to bring it back, he just said, ok. No sorry, for taking so long nothing. Again no customer skills whatsoever. Lucky it was still warm enough to eat. I would not recommend this restaurant at all, no wonder the lobby was empty, only drive thru was full, no one wants to go inside. Read moreGood food and fast service, the only reason for the lower rating is last week at 7:30 am the Greatgrains delivery truck parked and completely blocked the drive-thru. Myself and 6 other customers had to go inside to order. I assumed they were having trouble and the drive-thru was closed. When I asked the guy working there he said there was no issue and that the driver just blocked the drive-thru and there was nothing they could do about it. I called the company and advised that their driver had blocked the drive-thru and was told they are not supposed to do that. I can be certain the employees at Wendy's are aware of this and should have advised the driver to move the truck. I can only assume he was affraid of confrontation or just didn't care that customers were inconvenienced by having to come inside.
