Chip Cookies — Restaurant in Erie

Love the cookies when they're warm when you first get them, some don't taste as good once they're cooled. I think since they're not fully baked the doughy-ness is not my favorite part, don't get me wrong I love soft cookies with a crispy edge, but if I want cookie dough I'll just get cookie dough.

Cookie reviews: The OG is def pretty good, just wish it wasn't as doughy, the flavor is right there!! The cocoa cookie... I had higher hopes for, it didn't taste like anything, was pretty dry, yet really doughy at the same time almost like eating fudge, but didn't taste like chocolate just looks like chocolate. S&W Chip was okay, I thought it had an actual wafer cookie inside lol, also if you try this cookie after the OG it's just not good enough. Sugar Cookie, when you bite it, you get little crunches of granulated sugar, the cookie itself I feel is too under baked or maybe a little too much sugar haha it's a sugar cookie, but there was something just not 100% with me on that one. Mini cookies & cream, wish it tasted more oreo, still a good cookie though. Boneless, this is the talk of TikTok!! It is definitely a good cookie, still too doughy for me, I did decorate 1 of the 2 boneless I got, it had milk chocolate drizzle, crushed oreos, and little white chocolate balls lol. (Sadly didn't take any pics of the boneless and minis)

All in all, I love the OG, just prefer it more baked on...

This is a nice cookie shop with very nice staff and a clean environment. An alternative to Crumb cookies. Loved watching the staff create the different cookie flavors. They offer a variety of flavors, some classic, some remakes, and some that they say are local favorites. Overall, we thought the cookies were good, especially when hot and fresh. Too underdone for my taste, but taste is subjective. The following day, I baked a couple a little longer, and they were more to my liking. The chocolate cookie does not have a strong enough chocolate flavor. It's very bland. The flavor should really be punched up. I tried the tiramisu cookie because that's one of my favorite desserts. Interesting concept, love the idea, and it's almost there, but it's REALLY begging for a stronger coffee flavor. The espresso pour over (or whatever kind of coffee is being used) has nowhere near enough flavor to call this a tiramisu flavor. I tasted only the cookie and the frosting on top. It was nice to try them, but I don't know if we'll be back. Maybe to try some...

$70 dry, tasteless cookie...

My wife went into Chip yesterday and was intrigued by the giant cookie on display. She decided to order it as it looked. The cashier added all kinds of non-transparent charges to the order which came to $70 (with 12% minimum tip option selected). When she asked for the receipt only did the cash register decide to explain that they couldn't ring up the item as selected and tried to explain the charges; seems pretty shady and, come on, $70 for a cookie that was less base substance than box of cake mix?!?!

When she brought it home we tried to eat the cookie, but it was extremely dry and it was pretty much tasteless. The whip cream on the side added some flavor and helped choke it down, but was overall unpleasant.

What a waste of money!...
