Absolutely fabulous music was good not too loud that you couldn’t have a conversation. It was a great temperature inside a relief from the weather outside. They had a pretty full bar for the most part. Service was fantastic. My Waitress Ping. Was outstanding she checked on me frequently made sure that everything was OK at all times such a wonderful treatment. The food was spectacular. I did have to pay a little extra to get the fried rice and instead of the white rice worth every penny everything smelled terrific tasted fantastic. Very fresh. Nothing was What I wouldn’t expect from a fantastic place. They are fairly new only a little over a year and everybody should come check it out. Pricing was great specials were worth trying. I enjoyed the entire experience. You might have a little bit of a harder time finding parking in the parking lot. You might have to walk a little bit, but there is plenty of parking since it’s attached to the same parking lot as Lowe’s.

Staff service was great and the restaurant was very clean and relaxing. I tried their Tako Yaki which wasn’t for me but tasted good. The versions I had before included a noticeable chunk of octopus where this version was completely minced so the texture threw me off. Also, the spicy edamame isn’t very spicy so don’t expect a lot of heat just a flavor of spiciness, it’s more garlicky than spicy. The roll I ordered had eel in it and was cooked well. While I did think it was a small piece of eel, it didn’t have any chewiness. I do want to try some other dishes off their menu but they are a bit pricey. I may try returning for their lunch hours to try their version of salmon teriyaki.

I have been to so many sushi places in the area. Once I went to Sapporo I knew it was great. I tried to see if any others could beat it and nope. This one is by far the best. Rolls are big and mad fire. I promise. The staff is rad! Place is the cleanest, kindest and most delicious for the buck. Love it. I come here every week on lunch break… don’t tell the wife that I come here without her. I also can spend $100 on just myself, not because it’s expensive, and don’t worry it is definitely financially friendly. No I spend that much because I just love it that much and can’t resist. It is my personal treat. Highly suggest the Spider-Man roll. It’s big and amazing and worth it

I am disappointed. - I had reservations and had what seemed like a good dinner last night with friends. The server was nice and the restaurant is very polished. But after going home and a few hours later, I got violently ill to my stomach. And all I could taste was the salmon and crab wantons. I was so so sick and just one of those sicknesses where you cannot leave the bathroom. I could not eat anything at all today and when I was finally feeling okay enough to contact the restaurant and alert them about what happened to me, I was very much dismissed. It is one thing to have a good server and another to have good service. I told them that I was very concerned for others eating at the restaurant and also asked if being our neighborhood go to place, I could be offered a refund or some kind of compensation based on what I had gone through. They told me no and that I could get a doctor’s note and have my insurance paid for. I told them that I was very sick and that I am not happy with the food and feel grossed out knowing that it was contaminated and could make people sick and I wanted a refund and they still refused. The first person who answered the phone was friendly and was welcoming in grabbing her manager right away, but after speaking with the manager and her speaking to the boss, I was dismissed and told that nothing could be done. I will be making a formal complaint to the health board and I hope that others can read this and know that if you eat this food be careful and also if you want to bring a complaint forward to them, you will not be heard or helped. This needs to be fixed after spending $150 plus on a dinner that didn’t stay...

We had at least good expectations for this place and were extremely disappointed and I'll explain. We spent $180 on takeout and ordered many different things. The most basic items, the salmon and tuna had the most offbeat flavor I've ever tasted in my life compared to other sushi places I've been to over the last 38 years. They didn't taste fishy just really weird and not good and left a terrible aftertaste. However the spicy tuna roll and Unagi were a bit fishy tasting which is just the biggest turn off. There were a couple of pieces of sashimi in my sushi sashimi combo entrée that I couldn't identify and when I tasted them and was scared to do so, I was surprised that they had zero flavor like soft chewable cardboard. I've never been so disappointed and grossed out at the same time, they are obviously buying extremely low budget fish and I just caution people to think twice. I hate writing a bad review unless it's warranted and all I can think of is we wasted $180 and all night I felt like I was on the verge of throwing up. I really would like to go over there and get my money back or at least some of it but I don't have the will to deal with it. Sorry for the bad review I always wanna write a great one or a mediocre one but not bad. This place deserves a bad one big time.

PS I put three stars for the atmosphere because it is a nice place as I went to pick...

The Good: The sushi at Sapporo is undeniably top-notch. Each piece was fresh, beautifully presented, and a delight to the taste buds. The quality and taste of the sushi truly impressed me, and it's clear that the chefs are skilled at their craft.

I also want to commend the service. Despite the busy and packed restaurant, the staff remained attentive friendly, and provided excellent service. They made sure we were taken care of and were accommodating to our needs.

The Not-So-Good: One aspect that detracted from the overall experience was the wait time for the sushi. It took nearly an hour before our sushi dishes arrived at the table. While I understand the restaurant was busy, a long wait time can be frustrating, especially when hungry.

Additionally, the atmosphere inside the restaurant felt more like a club than a dining establishment. The music was extremely loud, making it difficult to have a conversation without raising our voices. A more subdued ambiance would have enhanced the dining experience.

Furthermore, the appetizers we ordered were disappointing. They arrived cold, and the quality was fair.

With some adjustments in wait times, ambiance, and appetizer quality, the dining experience could be elevated to a truly...
