Tractor Supply Co. — Local services in Lafayette

This review is for the VET CLINIC ONLY. Both the store and all the employees are awesome and I highly recommend! Our experience at the PetVet clinic they have once per month, however, was BEYOND HORRIBLE.

The vet was LIVIA UJHELYI. We were there with our old dog and young pup for heartworm testing and heartworm medication. She couldn't get our pets' names right after correcting her three times, and almost mixed up which dog she was treating (nearly labeling one dog's blood as the other dog's.)

She dragged our obviously scared younger dog trying to get him into a seated position for the blood draw, almost pulling him out of his harness. Then it took her two attempts sticking him to get blood. For the older dog, the first attempt seemed to go fine...but then she called us back after a couple of minutes to do it again because the blood had coagulated. My daughter walked him back but when I heard him repeatedly yelp in pain from across the store I rushed over to see what was happening. When I got there Ujhelyi had stepped away to grab ANOTHER needle, and was going to try a THIRD time to get blood. I said "no way, we're done here."

Again, highly recommend this STORE, but ABSOLUTELY AVOID the vet clinic if you value your pet's safety and comfort! It was...

Called this store prior to going there to get chicks. Associate on the phone said they had chicks. While at the store it was tough to locate an Associate to assist with the chicks. Manager came over with another customer who was also getting chicks. Manager was concerned when he asked if I was getting chicks and I said yes. Manager said that the customer with him was getting the remaining chicks. The most frustrating part is that the Manager said this customer was in earlier that morning and had stated he was going to get them all. Very frustrating that their was a lack in communication with other associates and I could have been informed over the phone that they were all sold. Wasted trip. This store has been going down hill with customer service and this was enough for me to decide that I will not be going back to any Tractor Supply company in the future. My company has spent a lot of time at multiple TSC locations and are noticing the same issue with customer service. My company will be moving on to another company moving forward after several issues at all...

The manager here is terrible for many reasons and I don’t understand how people like her still get to keep their job. If I had been me, I’d be fired without severance pay. Just shows how some people get to keep their job, if you know the right people. She has no product knowledge, Dollar General customer service, and seems like she’s mad the world for existing around her. I’m sure that upper management is aware and maybe doesn’t care…? This is the same woman from 2 years ago that wouldn’t open the store at exactly the correct hours and had me waiting in 20 degree weather. I forgive but never forget!!!
