Was driving through Erie on my way back to Ohio from out of town and found this place online. Had a lot of great reviews so figured I'd give it a try. Service was not good at all, honestly kind of rude. Took a lot longer than expected to even order with hardly anyone else even in there. I ordered the kabob entre with a salad and soup. After waiting quite a while all my food came out at once. Would of expected a salad and soup to come first especially when they make you wait so long for your order. Soup was bland in flavor and room temperature at best(maybe cold because they waited so long to bring it out). Salad was okay other than getting through it to find a hair at the bottom of it(clearly a females hair and I'm a shorthaired male). I pointed that out and was greeted with more rudeness. The steak kabobs were just okay lacking flavor overall. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone at all. After leaving the restaurant I had to look back at google to see if I even went to the right place with all this raving reviews. Definitely got cat-fished by high reviews and not knowing this place. Hopefully this 1 true honest review will make a difference in someone else stopping her hopping for a good experience or even...
Read moreI recently visited Shish Kabob with my family, and we had a wonderful dining experience. The restaurant had a clean, cozy, and welcoming atmosphere that made us feel comfortable right away.
We ordered the mixed grill for three people, and it was absolutely delicious. The platter included a great mix of grilled meats — beef, chicken, and lamb — all juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The meal was served with French fries, and the staff generously offered us a portion of rice as a complimentary side, which we really appreciated. The portions were generous and more than enough for all of us to enjoy.
The service was excellent. Fatima, our server, was very nice and friendly. She welcomed us warmly, answered our questions, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Her kind and professional attitude made a big difference in our experience.
The prices were reasonable and well worth it for the quality and quantity of food.
Overall, I highly recommend Shish Kabob to anyone looking for delicious grilled food and great customer service. Special thanks to Fatima for making our family visit even more enjoyable. We’ll definitely be...
Read moreI ordered after hearing from a few friends about it as well after trying a little bit at a friends house. I would gave the food a 7 or 8. I ordered a Shish tawook and in the choices I asked for bread but got rice instead and a soup and no salad unless they call onions on the rice salad, also ordered Chicken Biryani which I know that comes with rice and there was no salad. Unless the in the Middle East, Chicken Biryani is a different dish than the Indian or Pakistani, because general Biryani is layers of meat and rice with curry, so in others words chicken curry is mixed with rice but one layer or meat and gravy and one layer of rice and same again. This Biryani had rice and two chicken legs sitting on the top, and general Biryani is served with salad and raita which is yogurt with splash of water and vegetables but like I said that this may be the middle eastern way. The portion was generous but the taste was very bland and plain not much taste, I doesn’t like too spicy so it seemed good but could use a little taste. I will try once again and if the things are missing again than it be...
