This Wendy's restaurant is by far the worst location in Northwestern Pennsylvania! The poor attitude starts at the top and trickles down to lower level employees. There are so many other options near by (Arbys, Taco Bell, KFC ect.) i would AVOID this Wendy's at all costs.
My family and I ordered lunch today from this Wendy's location today (1 double cheeseburger, 2 spicy chicken wraps and 2 of the new jalapeno chicken sandwiches) and not one item was made correctly. The double cheeseburger was made as a single, the chicken wraps were made with some kind of old nasty salad spring greens, and the jalapeno chicken sandwiches were made with BURGER PATTIES instead of chicken patties.
When i returned to Wendy's (ordered through drive through) I immediate asked to speak with a manger. Upon my request, I was approached by a "manger" that was laughing hysterically (prob knew that disgusting order was being returned). Ultimately, she did not seem to care my food was disgusting as I showed her the food that was served to me. I told her I either wanted a refund or the food made correctly. She told me she could not give me new jalapeno chicken sandwiches because they were partially eaten. She then proceeded to tell me "this aint my fault cuz i aint on sandwich line", it is unfortunate i had to remind this "manager" that management is responsible for all food that comes over the counter or out the window. Someone (besides me) needs to reiterate to Wendy's that their people in "management" positions are responsible for ALL food going over the counter or out the window.
When the 2 new chicken wraps and double burger were being made i had to watch this "manager" continually laugh at me while overseeing other employees make the food. Needless to say i did not trust eating the remade food. Moral of the story...AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS.
I wish i could share the photo to visually show other customers or future customers the food I was...
Read moreI went to pick up a delivery order and went to go into the lobby to pick it up as the hours stated on the door said it closed at 10p.m. and it was 9:41p.m. The door was already locked. I drove to the drive thru and after saying I had a pick up order, I asked for future reference when they close and they said 9p.m. When I drove up to the window to get the order, which I was informed one item was not available, they told me again it was unavailable and I said I would let the customer know. They said I need to tell them that they could come in the following day to get one. I started typing a message to convey the information and the lady employee said “I don’t like your attitude” which I responded saying I was focusing on writing down what she said to tell (mind you she didn’t ask if I could) the customer. I even sent a second message letting them know, as I was told, they could call this evening. She said the latter part after she said she didn’t like my attitude. I thanked the other worker when I was finally handed the order, which I was told was ready, but then had to wait an additional 5 minutes. It concerns me because not only had I tried to share the information to make sure their company would get positive reviews for customer service, but because I was quiet and doing so, it was shared I had an attitude. I do not have any desire to go to an establishment that makes assumptions and says them out loud, which is not good customer service. I would not want to be present when someone actually is rude, who knows what...
Read moreI stopped going to Wendy’s in East 12th St because drive thru service was so slow, so often. For awhile I understood maybe they were understaffed or maybe mismanaged and tried to give them a chance to get better. I gave up after about 6 months. This afternoon I decided to give them a chance. There were 4-5 cars ahead of me and it was a 20 minute wait to even ORDER my food. I had used my app to place and pay for my food, but that made nothing faster. When I finally made it to the window to pick up my food, it took more than 5 minutes. As I sat there, waiting, I watched the random employees inside. One employee was using her cellphone the whole time I waited. Another employee stood with her back to me without moving, hunched over a bit, it seemed to me she was busy texting on a phone as well, but I cannot say FOR SURE. I really hope they sanitize their phones before they use them while handling food for customers. The window person who gave me my food was friendly and present, but having to depend on co-workers who are distracted by their phones isn’t fair to them OR THE CUSTOMERS. Is that why the drive thru line was SO time consuming? I’m sure it will be awhile before I try Wendy’s again, which is a shame because their...
