Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Escanaba

Just edited my review from high ratings to low. This used to be one of the best places in town to order from, great pizza, great service, very user friendly/accurate website...is one of the ONLY places among the VERY FEW, where I've been comfortable with online ordering. However something has drastically changed within the Dominos atmosphere, and not for the better. They recently changed the website and we ordered from there recently, using the "changed" website. It was terrible, not acceptable AT ALL. It was hard to understand, and would not give me all order choices visible or easily accessable. For instance, it doesn't give you a spot for choosing a later time to have the order ready, and since my roommate works at Menards, I usually order for the end of his shift so that he can pick up on his way, going past Dominos, to get home. Only AFTER going to checkout, does it give the option but it's so subtle that it's hard to see, as well as this big map pops up, interrupting what you are focused on. It's very hard to be sure of ordering at the right time! We order online about once every other week, sometimes more. Until now I have had no problems but the new website was nothing but problems! And the last time I ordered, when I FINALLY got change the order time to a later time (from Escanaba), and submitted the order, this big map popped up on my screen, blocking the one I was working on. When I closed it to get it out of the way, the website changed my order to the GLADSTONE store, and I didn't know it until my roommate came home with NO PIZZA, saying they didn't have an order for us. I had been wondering why the pizza tracker hadn't been showing up this time when it usually did. I KNEW I had the Escanaba store selected BEFORE I tried to change the timing! When I called Escanaba, the girl was snotty and rude, and said she couldn't do anything, even though my pizza had ALREADY been paid for online! She said it was in GLADSTONE. I called there, needless to say we had to drive to Gladstone to get our pizza; their new website is faulty! There also was an issue with Escanaba "not getting" my order the last time BEFORE this incident too; same girl answered when I called, same rude "I don't want to do anything" attitude... would do NOTHING to remedy the situation...ended up hanging up and ordering somewhere else. The food also been tasting different lately, like something is off, and hardly any toppings on the pizza. If ordering EXTRA cheese, pizza comes looking like there's HARDLY ANY cheese on it. Usually customer service at Dominos is among the best, now it's one of the WORST. Gladstone isn't too bad but Escanaba used to be REALLY GOOD, now REALLY HORRIBLE! I love Domino's Pizza and go here often. Yesterday June 3 2025, I placed my order on the App (order#71) and it was a great deal as I saved $19.96 by placing the order. I always have a very easy time picking up thru the drive thru, but my order required me to pick-up at the counter. When I walked in at 5:06pm I could see my order on the screen said Wayne 1-5 mins so I knew it wasn't ready yet but I told the clerk my name and he went looking for the order. It wasn't ready but the place was busy so I wasn't worried. 8 minutes go by and my order on screen now says Ready and it is highlighted in green, but no order yet. Another customer comes in for his (Jesse) order and in his order is a Large Pepperoni and Sausage pizza (also same pizza in my order) and I watched as a clerk picked up a pizza on the shelf that was on top another pizza and add it to his order. Now my order was done and was up higher than the other order but still no Large Pepperoni & Sausage pizza. I finally get my order when a new Large Pepperoni and Sausage pizza comes out and they put it on the other pizza on the shelf that they took the first Large Pep & Sau from. I took my order and left happy to get going home where family is waiting. I get in car and pull away looking at time it was now 5:36pm! I had spent a half hour waiting when it should have been 5 to 10 minutes tops! I will still go to Domino's Pizza as it was just a very busy day. Everyone was working hard and doing a great job under the stress of so many orders coming in. I really appreciate the crew at this Domino's as they always do a great job with the food and kind friendly service. Next time I'll place an extra pizza on my order for the crew to have as a token of my thanks for them...

i usually really enjoy the alfredo. there’s been MANY times where i don’t get like any sauce at all, but i just have dealt with it. the last THREE times i have ordered it’s been messed up. the last bite of one had pineapple, and then they gave me a completely different pasta i had ordered the next time. they messed it up again today. there’s pineapple and mushroom. mind you i get CHICKEN ALFREDO every single time. and every time ive come in for a mess up they say “so should we remake it?” what do you think? i came back j to show them or what? ridiculous is all i can say. i’ve been disappointed way too much i will be going to gladstone from now on. there has been plenty times where i go to pick up and workers are gossiping instead of helping people inside. the place is basically run by teenage boys atp. oh and 80% of the time my pasta bowl is only half full. i am sick of...
