I absolutely love taffy - it’s my favorite candy and I only buy it twice a year when we go to Estes Park. This was the first time trying this brand. It’s not my favorite taffy but that’s just my personal taste. The taste to me is more like cotton candy with a heavy presence of powdered sugar. All the flavors I bought were over powered by the powdered sugar taste. I prefer traditional creamy flavorful taffy in wax paper wrapping. I don’t want to fight trying to get the candy off the plastic cellophane wrapper which was an enormous mess because it sticks horribly to the wrapper. Do not get sucked in by the variety of flavors here. the taffy taste ranges from bland, muted, artificial, to bafflingly dissimilar to what the flavor is. If I didn't read the flavor, I wouldn't be able to guess most of them. Texture is way too soft and it doesn't come out of the packaging clean at all. I usually never leave reviews, especially not negative ones, but this place feels like they are just trying to sell cheap products and out compete other businesses. We went in just to look. We ended up buying one of many options. We ended up eating them on the way down the mountain. They were DELICIOUS. the best taffy I've ever had. The texture is super soft. The flavors are so good. My favorites are the double cinnamon(cinnamon chews), sour watermelon, all the sours really, vanilla and vanilla bean.... We plan to purchase on line once we get home. The only complaint would be you can't order half pounds of a flavor or certain number of a flavor in the mix. It's pick 15 for a mix or buy a whole pound of one. Would like if it were numbered for specific flavor or even to 1/2 pound...
