Other than all the tourist and the fact that they canceled the rodeo 20 min before I get there, it is a very very beautiful place. It snowed just a few days before we got there this year. This is a little out of place for there, at least this late in the season. There was very little to no standing snow on the ground, but just 600 to 1,200 feet above Estes there was quite a bit of snow. It made for some very very beautiful photos and just a gorgeous back drop to a great place. It is still very expensive there but they have some great food and very wonderful people!!!!! Sometimes it feels like you can touch to sky and if you can jump hi enough you can touch...

Estes Park is such a lovely mountain town. Tucked away from the busy cities. They have farmers market on Thursdays. With many wonderful things to see, smell & taste. Fresh produce brought in from locally grown farms and orchards. If it's breakfast your after, the locals know where to go. It's here. European cheeses, a few feet away, fresh bread, some still warm from the oven! You can buy smoked salmon, and freshly made fish tacos! Desert is right there with pastries that are not just visually beautiful, but pleasing to the pallet. You will meet some of the friendliest people Estes Park has to offer, the food is just an extra....

Bond Park is great. It is always kept in immaculate condition with no trash laying around. You can take a break from shopping lounging on the grass or any of the benches around the park. The park is surrounded on 3 sides with shops & the 4th is the police/library building that has well maintained restrooms on the side of the park. During the summer there are often festivals held on the weekend at the park. During some nights of the week in the early evening there are free concerts....

A nice city park with lots of businesses near by. We stopped in on our way to Rocky Mountain national park. It is right that in the river and you wade in if you want to. It is super relaxing just to sit and enjoy the running water. It has paid parking during the summer and it is reasonably price at less than 3 dollars an hour. You can walk along the river or the Main Street. Plenty of shops, bars, restaurants and multiple places to get ice cream.

4/15/23-Nice little park that the city holds events in. How they blocked off the park made getting around hard, like if you wanted to go to a nearby restaurant. It was a free event and the setup made it hard for people to get around including those with mobility issues. The area is relatively level. The area could use more places for people to sit down. Lot's of standing because of this making it unfriendly to people with mobility issues or the elderly.

Estes Park Wine Fest. Fun event. Lots of delicious local wines to taste. Friendly servers at every wine tent. Great non-wine vendor tents of local artists and craftsmen. Food tents/trucks were high quality. Fried cheese curds, hand pies, falafel, and fired pizza among the choices. There were picnic areas available on the park greenspace. We attended on the last day (Sunday) and it wasn't very busy which meant no waiting for wine sampling.
