Other than all the tourist and the fact that they canceled the rodeo 20 min before I get there, it is a very very beautiful place. It snowed just a few days before we got there this year. This is a little out of place for there, at least this late in the season. There was very little to no standing snow on the ground, but just 600 to 1,200 feet above Estes there was quite a bit of snow. It made for some very very beautiful photos and just a gorgeous back drop to a great place. It is still very expensive there but they have some great food and very wonderful people!!!!! Read moreEstes Park is such a lovely mountain town. Tucked away from the busy cities. They have farmers market on Thursdays. With many wonderful things to see, smell & taste. Fresh produce brought in from locally grown farms and orchards. If it's breakfast your after, the locals know where to go. It's here. European cheeses, a few feet away, fresh bread, some still warm from the oven! You can buy smoked salmon, and freshly made fish tacos! Desert is right there with pastries that are not just visually beautiful, but pleasing to the pallet. You will meet some of the friendliest people Estes Park has to offer, the food is just an extra....
Read moreBond Park is great. It is always kept in immaculate condition with no trash laying around. You can take a break from shopping lounging on the grass or any of the benches around the park. The park is surrounded on 3 sides with shops & the 4th is the police/library building that has well maintained restrooms on the side of the park. During the summer there are often festivals held on the weekend at the park. During some nights of the week in the early evening there are free concerts....
